Kategorier og vannmerke

Hei, og flott at du laster opp nye bilder til commons. Dersom du har mulighet for å legge til en beskrivelse av bildet og en kategori også er det enda bedre ;) Jeg har f.eks. lagt til Category:Islands in Nordland og hhvis Category:Andøy og Category:Lurøy på Bleikøya og Lovundbildet. Dersom du ikke finner en egnet kategori kan du merke bildet med

{{uncat}}

En annen sak er dette med vannmerke, altså datoen på bildet. Dersom du ikke har mulighet til å fjerne denne før opplasting kan du merke bildene med

{{watermark}}

Er vi riktig heldige kommer det da en bruker som er fling til bildebehandling å tryller vannmerket bort.

Hei Sondre, først av alt - håper du mente "laste opp" og ikke "laste ned" - dersom dette er bilder du har funnet på nettet, altså ikke dine egne bilder, kan du ikke uten videre laste dem opp på commons.

Når du laster opp egne bilder får du opp

Etter å ha fyllt ut Description og Date på vanlig måte skriver du bare (kopier gjerne denne teksten)

Thank you for providing images to the Wikimedia Commons. Please keep in mind that images uploaded to the Commons should be useful to all users of Wikimedia projects. This is possible only if the images can be found by other people.

To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should put the images into appropriate topic pages, categories, optionally galleries, or both of them (see Commons:Categories). To find good categories for your images, the CommonSense tool may help.

You can find a convenient overview of your uploaded files in this gallery.

The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There are a large number of completely unsorted images on the Commons right now. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do!

Picture(s) from Dovrefjell

Hi,

I am interested in using your picture "Muskox.jpg" in a Wiki article (danish wiki). I understand that it is public domain and hence I can do so without asking you.

However, for my article I need a picture without the Muskoxen. I have therefore prepared a version without them (http://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fil:Dovrefjell2.jpg). But it is not the optimal solution so I wondered if you (by chance) have (or can easily make) a similar picture without muskoxen.

The picture is for an article about Denmark in the very late iceage. Therefore the lush tundra vegeation with a few shrubs from the lower parts of the Dovrefjell plateu are ideal. (But no mountains, muskox, large rivers etc - reindeer however are OK although I prefer not...)

If you have not another picture I still value your opinion. Is it OK to use an edited version of your picture, or do you find it unacceptable to do so.

Your account will be renamed

Hello,

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.

Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Sondrekv. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Sondrekv~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.

Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
