Moin Krd, wie im OTRS-Wiki besprochen habe ich einen Entwurf für das Template in meinem BNR erstellt: User:Yellowcard/OTRS Accreditation.

Ich habe auf Deutsch und Englisch einen ersten Entwurf für einen Text versucht. Gern kannst Du sie überarbeiten. In jedem Fall sollte das Layout noch geändert werden, damit sich die Vorlage auch visuell von {{PermissionOTRS}} abgrenzt. Dabei würde ich vor allem das Icon austauschen, hast Du da eine Idee? Ich hätte spontan gesagt, wir nehmen einfach eine andere Farbe und gut ist, aber das Ding ist ja gar nicht bunt. Ein guter Anfang wäre ein blauer oder grüner Rahmen, und ein passendes Icon. --Krd 17:09, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

Hallo Krd, vor drei Wochen habe ich einige Fotos hochgeladen und die entsprechenden Lizenzen bei Commons hinterlegt. Leider ist noch kein Bild mit den Lizenzerklärungen verlinkt. Dürfte ich dir die entsprechenden Fotos samt Lizenzerklärungen der Kunstler angeben, damit die Fotos aus den Artikeln nicht gelöscht warden? Hallo Krd, danke, dass du mir helfen wirst! Vielleicht habe ich etwas unwissentlich falsch gemacht. Die Lizenzen wurden von den unten stehenden Personen an folgende Adresse geschickt: permissions-de@wikimedia.org Ich hoffe, dass die Adresse richtig ist. Ein Problem könnte auch sein, dass die Fotos mehrheitlich von mir sind. Ich als Charly Bernasconi habe beim Hochladen der Fotos unter Quelle jeweils geschrieben "eigenes Foto". Vielleicht ist das missverständlich gewesen? Auf jeden Fall gebe ich im nun Folgenden die Bilder an, die in den nächsten Tagen gelöscht warden, obwohl m.E. die Lizenzerklärung wie es sein sollte an OTRS gegangen ist:

Die Kunstwerke von Max Rüedi in der Kirche St. Franziskus Wollishofen betreffen folgende Bilder, welche vom Kunstler mit einer Lizenzerklärung am 1.3.2014 an permissions-de@wikimedia.org freigeschaltet wurden (die Fotos stammen alle von mir):

Die Nonnen des Klosters Ilanz, vertreten durch die Generaloberin des Klosters Ilanz Eugenia Jörger, haben folgende Fotos als Fotografinnen Wikipedia mittels Lizenzerklärung zur Verfügung gestellt:

Zwei weitere Fotos stammen von mir. Die abgebildeten Kunstwerke hat die Künstlerin Frau Stieger am 11.3.2014 mittels E-Mail an permissions-de@wikimedia.org freigegeben:

Am 2.3.2014 hat der Sohn des verstorbenen Künstlers Alfred Huber mit dem gleichen Namen Alfred Huber meine Fotos der Kunstwerke via permissions-de@wikimedia.org freigegeben:

Der Sohn des verstorbenen Künstlers Hans Affeltranger hat die Lizenzerklärung an OTRS gemailt, und zwar am 24. Februar. Ebenfalls erhielt OTRS die Erklärung von Seiten des Fotografen durch Pfarrer Spielmann am 11. Februar um 18.08 Uhr. Beide Erklärungen wurden via E-Mail der genannten Personen geschickt an folgende Adresse: permissions-de@wikimedia.org Ich wäre dankbar, wenn ich die fünf Fotos der Glasfenster wieder in den Artikel einfügen könnte und wenn die sechs Bilder von Ludwig Stocker nicht gelöscht würden. Hi Krd, dürfte ich Dich bitten den Text zu obige File zu löschen? (upload error) Wenn man auf history klick, ist nichts vorhanden. Ist ein dubioser-Upload-Effekt der von meinen Script ausgelöst wurde, weiss aber noch nicht wo/wie, und der Text/Edit-Seite fehlt. Das Image ist zwar vorhanden, aber keine History. Die Seite lässt sich nicht bearbeiten (Edit-Konflikt). Verstehe auch nicht ganz, wie das passiert ist, denn wenn beim upload der edit-text fehlt, wird die vorhandene comment-zeile von der media-wikisoftware auch als init für den edit-text genommen. Hab den eigentlich Edit-Inhalt mal auf die Disk-Seite händisch kopiert. Mit Dank,--Wdwd (talk) 17:48, 8 April 2014 (UTC)

Panoptikum Mannheim

Hallo Krd, enthält die Genehmigung irgendeine Angabe zum Urheber? Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass Panop14 zwar hoffentlich die Fotos gemacht hat, sicher aber nicht auch gleichzeitig der Bildhauer ist. Frohe Ostern. --Túrelio (talk) 11:36, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

Hallo Túrelio. Die Freigabe kommt vom Panoptikum, und darin wird angegeben, dass man Rechteinhaber der Figuren sei. Falls das nicht ausreicht, könnte man weiter nachfragen. Gruß… --Krd 11:58, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
Da die Fotos CC-BY-lizenziert sind, muss aber zwangsläufig der Urheber bzw. die Vorgabe des Urhebers als Credit eingetragen werden, sonst ist eine Genehmigung m.E. unvollständig. Und bei Fotos von Kunstwerken gibt es halt 2 Urheber, den Künstler und den Fotografen. Bei einem institutionellen Lizenzgeber würde ich erwarten, dass er als Credit-Vorgabe z.B. "Panoptikum Mannheim" verlangt. Wenn ich solche Rechte beantrage, weise ich den Rechteinhaber jedenfalls darauf hin.
Übrigens, da du ja OTRSler bist: der Bildhauer Ottmar Hörl hat bereits am Donnerstag die von mir erbetene Genehmigung für meine Fotos von seiner Installation "Mein Karl 2014) in Aachen, u.a. File:MeinKarl2014 Aachen 8294.JPG, an OTRS-de gemailt. Falls du gerade Kapazität hast, wäre es nett, wenn du das mal anschauen könntest. Danke. --Túrelio (talk) 12:06, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

Hallo Charly. Ich habe mir das gerade angesehen, und leider gibt es in jeder Gruppe einzelne Probleme. Insbesondere fehlt fast überall die Angabe, wer Urheber der Bilder ist, bzw. in den Freigaben eine Darstellung, warum die Rechte bei den Archiven liegen sollen. Wie gehen wir hier weiter vor?

Frau Hochstrasser (Tochter von Künstler Jean Bünter), Frau Luzia Stoller (von Pfarrei Dübendorf) sowie Frau Seeberger (von Pfarrei Bauma) habe heute kontaktiert, damit sie Angaben zu den Fotografen machen bzw. sagen, warum die Lizenzrechte in den Archiven der Pfarreien Dübendorf und Bauma liegen. Ihre Mail trägt folgendes Ticket#2014040710005378 In dieser E-Mail hat Frau Seeberger auch gleich die Angaben zu den noch offenen beiden Fotos mit folgender Verbindung gegeben. Diese beiden Fotos hat Frau Seeberger am 7. April bereits freigesprochen:

Herr Flammer als Geschäftsinhaber der Firma, welche die Bilder von der Orgel der Kirche Maria Frieden Dübendorf gemacht hat, hat am 22. April an OTRS seine Lizenzerklärung geschickt. Damit wäre meines Erachtens die Unklarheit in Bezug auf die Lizenz von Frau Stoller von der Pfarrei Dübendorf aus dem Weg geräumt. Könntest du dem bitte nachgehen? Hello Krd, could you fix the following issues of your transfers from WienWiki yourself (otherwise they are / could become copyvios)?

  • You are not (no longer) allowed to review files you have uploaded, please replace the review with a regular {{LicenseReview}} tag.
  • WienWiki states that the required attribution is "WienWiki / [photographer]", you only attribute the photographer as author.

Also, it would be great if you could give your uploads menaningful names and use categories.

Hi FDMS. I strongly support having 4 eyes on each license review. I'm not sure if there is a difference between admins and license reviewers, but to my opinion they shouldn't be any for single manual transfers.
In this case, the list of files to be transferred was compiled by User:Karl Gruber who pre-checked them and asked my to do the transfer (and also promised to add descriptions and categories afterwards) . All files have been transferred automatically by script like which also did some sanity checks (license, etc.), as also been done by other upload bots and license review bots. If you think all these files should go through additional manual review, please advise. I don't mind to do so, but I'm a bit afraid that other users may consider this to be not useful.
Regarding the attribution, you have a valid point. I'm going to sort and fix this later today or at least in the next few days. Thank you. --Krd 08:47, 1 May 2014 (UTC)

In the DR for World War I posters that you recently closed, you deleted the JPG files, but did not delete the corresponding TIFF files (some of the .jpg files had a corresponding .tif). For example, File:Kriegsausstellung Wien 1916 LCCN2004666190.jpg was deleted, but File:Kriegsausstellung Wien 1916 LCCN2004666190.tif was not. It looks like discussion mentions that the DR was intended to apply to corresponding TIFF files, where they exist. —RP88 21:05, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

Well, I was in the process of actually doing what was discussed at that DR: transfer them to en-WP as PD-US-abroad and then deleting them here. Oh well, now they're gone, so be it. It never made much sense to upload archival scans. To be useful, these all would have needed to be cropped and rotated at least. The ones I did transfer are listed at en:User:Lupo/img; the TIFFs there marked as "does not exist" never existed at the Commons. If somebody still wants to have them transferred, the procedure now is: undelete the file at Commons, tag as {{PD-US-1923-abroad-delete}}, wait until the bot has copied it, then delete here again. Then edit the copied file description page at en-WP, move the {{PD-US-1923-abroad}} tag into the licensing section, and add a parameter "|YYYY" where YYYY is death year of author + 71, if a death year is known. Maybe I read the DR wrong, as I thought all necessary transfers had already been done. If you like I could at least provide a list which of them have been in use at enwiki at the time of deletion, if that helps. We could the talk about how to transfer them. I do have that list, it's at en:User:Lupo/img. All the jpgs missing, and from the TIFFs all those that aren't there, but are not marked as "doesn't exist". But for now I'd just leave it as it is. As I wrote, I don't think uploading these files in the first place was a good idea, PD or not. They need to be edited, cropped and rotated, before they are useful. Hi Krd. Thanks for helping archiving the CU requests. One thing though: next time please follow the instructions on the bottom of Commons:Requests for checkuser/Archives. It says: "When archiving a case please add {{subst:rfcua}} to the top, and {{subst:rfcub}} to the bottom of the case page." Its result is that the older CU requests are made invisle when people add a new CU request on a CU case page. Question about COM:PCP

I'm finding the whole issue of file deletion at commons rather confusing. There seems to be little consistency. For example, Commons:Deletion requests/File:TLC LA.png was closed as "delete" with you citing COM:PCP but when I nominated File:Selena Gomez - Walmart Soundcheck Concert.jpg for deletion it was kept. That particular image was uploaded with a large watermark identifying it as coming from Walmart's website. The argument for keeping it was that it actually came from a flickr stream belonging to the people who run Walmart's website. However, nobody was willing or able to demonstrate that the company involved actually owned the image and that Walmart did not (Use of the image violates Walmart's TOU). Even the administrator who eventually undeleted it wouldn't demonstrate it. I would have thought that COM:PCP would have applied to that image as well. Hello.

It is time-consuming to post a deletion request. I posted two valid reasons, (in my opinion), to request deletion of https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Common_snapping_turtle_in_garden.jpg. Further, as mentioned by Yann, apparently it is bad quality. :-(

I'm afraid I can't make any sense of your closing statement at Commons:Deletion requests/File:Southern-Baptist-Convention.png: "Old upload, possibly in external use. Different content. No reason to delete."

  1. Why is the date of the upload important? It's not old enough to be a grandfathered old file.
  2. What does external use have to do with it? Even if a copyrighted file is heavily used (internally or externally), that isn't a reason to keep it.
  3. What does "Different content" mean? Are you suggesting that it isn't the Southern Baptist Convention's logo?
  4. Why do you say "No reason to delete" when I stated in the nomination that the logo is copyrighted? Are you suggesting that copyright isn't a valid reason or that it isn't copyrighted?

Hallo, ich verstehe Deinen Kommentar und die anschließende Löschung bei der obengenannten Löschdiskussion nicht... Laut dieser Übersicht wäre das Bild für die Wiki geeignet, da es über 100 Jahre alt ist (Georg Büttner starb Oktober 1914, das Bild muss also davor aufgenommen worden sein). Die Diskussion sollte dem vermeintlichen Bildrechteeigentümer die Möglichkeit geben seine Rechte nachzuweisen. Sollte also der einzige Fehler bei den Bildinfos gewesen sein, dass aus Versehen der Name "Georg Büttner" als Bildurheber stand anstatt "unbekannt", bitte ich darum das Bild wiederherzustellen. --Wieggy (talk) 14:01, 19 July 2014 (UTC)

Hallo, heißt das, dass die Übersicht falsch ist? Da der Fotograf unbekannt ist, wie soll ich nachweisen, wer das Bild geschossen hat und wann er/sie gestorben ist? Der User "Wildauerchroniker" kann es nicht sein, da er ein 29-jähriger Lokalpolitiker aus Wildau ist (hatte ausgiebigen email-Kontakt mit ihm). Hallo Ailura. Man könnte den Abstand in Grad/Minuten/Sekunden jeweils für Nord/Süd bzw. Ost/West darauf prüfen, ob er unter einem bestimmten Limit liegt. Falls nicht, ist entweder die Camera location falsch, oder das Bild wird für ein falsches Objekt verwendet, oder ähnliches.
Die Hauptfrage dabei wäre dann für mich: Wer sortiert das dann auseinander und räumt die Sachen auf, die nicht passen? Ich möchte hier keine neue Wartungsliste bauen, die ich dann selbst abarbeiten muss, weil mir dafür einfach die Zeit fehlt. --Krd 14:09, 30 May 2014 (UTC)

Die Object Location ist technisch schon etwas deutlich anderes als die Camera Location. Insbesondere große Objekte (Burgen, Brücken, etc.) kann man von "innerhalb" oder auch aus fünf Kilometern Entfernung abbilden.
Ich kann das natürlich gern abschalten, allerdings sollte es vielleicht vorher nochmal unter de:Wikipedia Diskussion:WikiProjekt Österreichische Denkmallisten angesprochen werden? (Ich lese dort im Moment nicht mehr mit, gib mir ggf. bitte das Ergebnis durch. Danke!) --Krd 06:48, 31 May 2014 (UTC)

All of the said images are released freely as per copyright specification of respective holders and can be fairly used anywhere both offline and online. If there is any mistake from my side you should notify up-loader to rectify the same (such as metadata doesn't match the details) instead of straight away removing the content without any notice. If possible pin-point the copyright violation in a specific way as per your knowledge. Hallo Krd,

zwei Fragen noch zur Löschung des Wintersportabzeichens

Bedeutet das praktisch, dass Fotos nahezu aller Abzeichen etc. deren Urheber nicht ausreichend lange tot sind von einer Löschung bedroht sind? War es in diesem Fall einfach nur Pech, dass Eleassar ausgerechnet diese Datei nominiert hat und nicht eine der unzähligen anderen? (Dateien bei denen das Thema Schöpfungshöhe anders ausgelegt wird lasse ich einmal außen vor)

Das mit den Autos habe ich auch nicht klar verstanden. (mieses englisch) Warum sind Bilder davon ok, von anderen Objekten aber nicht.

Deine Entscheidung akzeptiere ich ohne wenn und aber, ich will nur unötiges hochladen für die Zukunft möglichst vermeiden.

Hallo An-d. Die Sache steht und fällt damit, ob überhaupt urheberrechtlich geschützte Werke abgebildet sind. Autos dürften z.B. eher nicht geschützt sein, Münzen oder ähnliches z.B. schon. Da es auch noch zahlreiche Ausnahmen gibt, muss man sich das ggf. im Einzelfall anschauen und kann es auch nicht hier in einem Satz erklären. Weitere Infos findest Du unter COM:DW (englisch) bzw. Hallo Krd, das beantwortet meine Frage, warum es ausgerechnet dieses eine Foto eines Abzeichens erwischt hat nur bedingt, aber dann warte ich einfach mal ab und hoffe, dass es noch etwas dauert, bis die Bebilderung hier Geschichte ist. Bei mir bleibt irgendwie nur hängen, dass das irgendwie ziemlich willkürlich ist. Autos unterliegen keinem Urheberrecht (kein "Kunst"werk?), die Darstellung von zwei Buchstaben einer einer Flamme (Logo) und grob stilisierten Skiern aber schon. Eine Ehrenenadel vom Roten Kreuz bei welcher der Erschaffer vermutlich mehr Herzblut investiert hat, erlebt hier schon das neunte Jahr. Bei mir bleibt Ratlosigkeit. Das "Bauwerk" als solches ist nicht per se urheberrechtlich geschützt. Es muss deutlich über der Schöpfungshöhe liegen. Fotos aus dem Internet zeigen recht deutlich, dass das Innere des Gebäudes an Trivilialität und Funktionalität kaum zu überbieten ist. Weshalb dein Argument bzgl. Urheberschutz nicht greifen sollte.

Danke, soweit klar. Ich sehe aber keine Anhaltspunkte für solche Vermutungen bei diesem Bild. Es ist im ganzen Internet nirgends aufzufinden. Es ist auf Flickr im Rahmen einer Bilderserie mit themengleichem Inhalt (Unterricht in Naturwissenschaften), und der Autor beschäftigt sich mit diesem Thema (er bezeichnet sich als "science blogger"). Es hat die identischen Exif-Kamerainformationen wie seine anderen Bilder. Ich kenne aber die Vorgeschichte nicht, wie er auf diese Verdächtigenliste gekommen ist. Hallo Dickbrettbohrer. Wenn ich mir den Flickr-Stream so ansehe ist klar, dass der Betreiber sich nicht wirklich um Rechte kümmert. Auch wenn es gut möglich ist, dass er hier selbst der Fotograf war, ist es auch denkbar dass er das Bild auf einem anderen Weg erhalten hat und nicht Rechteinhaber ist. Ich möchte das so nicht wiederherstellen, Du kannst Dich aber gern für eine weitere Meinung an COM:UNDEL wenden. --Krd 12:57, 21 September 2014 (UTC)

Krd, ich bitte um Erläuterung warum mir eine drohende Nachricht wegen einer Vielzahl von Verletzungen von Autorenrechten hinterlassen wurde. Die einzige Datei welche ich vor ein paar Stunden hochgeladen habe, ist ein Bild von Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic von Flickr. Dieses wurde aus mir unklaren Gründen entfernt, dabei steht bei diesem Bild klar folgende Lizenz. Den Suchumfang bei Flickr habe ich ausschließlich auf "Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content, Find content to use commercially, Find content to modify, adapt, or build upon" begrenzt und dieser Suchumfang gibt folgendes Ergebnis aus https://www.flickr.com/search/?q=Kolinda&l=commderiv&ct=0&mt=all&adv=1 Ist denn die Lizenz CC BY 2.0 für Commons nicht annehmbar? Fastily hat geschrieben eine neu-formulierte template ist ok. Aber, meine frage, will eine neue template sich verbreiten nach alle fotos die hatten die alte template? but when the template is removed, then to remove the template call would require several hundred pictures to be changed. That has not happended (I think). But who really knows? Can you give me a name of someone who really knows? Or, can you write a bot that re-attaches the template call to the new template? Lieber Krd, es ist schwierig genug, Theater, Opern und Festivals zur Bereitstellung von Bildern zu bewegen. Dann haben wir sie und dann werden sie hier - auch noch mit dem zynischen Kommentar "Das Bild konnte gelöscht werden - vernichtet. Was hab ich falsch gemacht mit den Narciso-Bildern, mit Georgia Douglas Johnson, mit dem Bild des Denkmals für die Verfolgten der NS-Militärjustiz? Hi Sealle. That's possibly the case, but I don't see any evidence which one was erected before this date. (I wouldn't necessarily consider the death date of the subject as the year the headstone was erected.)

Russian pre-1917 tombs

In the deletion request you closed there wre apparently photos of some tombs/gravestones made before 1917, and they are free per {{PD-RusEmpire}}. This is obviously not your fault, since the nominator should have been more attentive, and also they have apparently not been properly licensed. However, they are free and should be restored (and relicensed). Would you mind if A.Savin and me will take care of this (and on other requests if applicable)? We have good track record in dealing with Russian copyright issues. For some images, it is impossible to determine whether they are copyrighted, and trial restorations might be necessary.--Ymblanter (talk) 13:29, 23 October 2014 (UTC)

Dear Krd, it is common use in Austria that all pics published by an organization in the press section of their website are free for any publication without any fees. This applies to all arts, but also to industries, politics, unions, famous people and so on … On Friday afternoon, I even called the lady responsible for the press work of KÖR (the organization responsible for the creation of the monument) and she assure me twice, that all pics are free for any kind of usage. It makes it very complicated if we have to ask the organizations to send an eMail to OTRS - they don't like it, it's unnecessary additional work load. They might get angry. Okay, I will ask them on Monday again to send an eMail (but it is a very awkward position I'm in right now). I have procured images from Salzburg Festival and from Innsbruck Festival, somehow I fear this distrust will hurt us (= WC and all WPs) and make it very complicated to procure good photographic material. Ich antworte mal auf Deutsch... Die Deklaration "Pressebilder", "free without any fees" usw. reicht nicht aus für die Annahme, dass das Bild unter einer willkürlich wählbaren freien Lizenz steht. Wir brauchen dafür eine klare Aussage, wer Urheber ist, wer Rechteinhaber ist, und unter welcher Lizenz das Bild freigegeben wurde. Sofern hier jedoch schon eine Absprache besteht, kann man dem Rechteinhaber die Erklärung vorformuliert vorgeben, so dass er nur noch mit einem "Ja, so richtig" o.ä. antworten muss. You completed the speedy deletion of Category:Number 0875 on vehicles. User:Ephraim33 used a once popular technique of first emptying the category, and then requesting deletion because it was empty. In my opinion although this technique was once common it should be deprecated because it is disruptive and erodes the confidence we should all have in one another on a project that is supposed to be cooperative. Yes, sometimes those who empty a category have a valid point. Other times they don't. Categories suck, and should be replaced with a better mechanism for organizing our content. In the meantime they have to be used with caution and respect for the time and efforts of our fellow contributors.

So, may I request that, before you delete an empty category, you first check to see if the person who requested its speedy deletion on the grounds it was empty had just finished emptying it? And, if so, would you please consider declining those speedy requests, and make them explain their reasoning to other involved parties? Geo Swan (talk) 23:06, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

Dear Geo Swan. Thank you for bringing this topic up, but to be honest, no, this is not possible. Many empty categories get deleted every day, also such who where emptied recently, and in nearly every case this happens in good faith and rightly. Doing the checks you request increases the effort significantly, and is not manageable in practice. Emptyness of a category is (with very few exceptions) a fact which shall lead to deletion. If emptying was wrong, the Category can be easily undeleted on request or recreated.
Commons is always short on contributors in meta area and short on admins, and Categories are problem area on nearly all wikis because very few people care about them. If you are experienced in this area, would you consider to request adminship on commons? --Krd 19:01, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi, könnten Sie mir bitte helfen, das Kelpman-foto "Kaks torni" wieder auf wikicommons zu bekommen? Ich finde es eine arrogante sauerei, dass so mir nichts dir nichts bilder entfernt warden, nur weil man nicht 100%ig den komplizierten copyrightsvorstellungen der amerikaner entspricht. Im normalen leben wartet man ab, ob jemand protestiert, aber bei wikicommons dominiert ein hündisch-unterwürfiger vorauseilender gehorsam, der eigentlich nicht zu Wikipedia past. Ich hatte doch mitgeteilt, dass der autor mir das recht erteilt, mich sogar gebeten hatte, dass bild upzuloaden. Was soll ich den noch tun? Hi Krd,

I am one of organisers of Wiki Loves Monuments in Ukraine and I have noticed you have deleted one or several images illustrating Ukrainian monuments. We would like to copy these images to Ukrainian Wikipedia (we do accept non-free content) and we want to use them at least in monument lists and articles about cities and villages, and also in articles about monuments (we will have an article contest in November) and about people connected with monuments (if it's a grave, a plaque etc. or created by a notable author) if those exist. Those images are very valuable, as many of these monuments have no illustrations on the Internet at all. Unfortunately, deleted images can't be undeleted via API, and I understand that undeleting identical images is a useless work (as we will only copy one main image + possibly some images of important details), so I kindly ask you to do the following:

  • Please undelete the image of the best quality for each concerned monument (to be used as a main article image)
  • Please also undelete all useful images of details of each monument (especially plaques for notable people living in buildings, we will use them in articles about those people)

Once you undelete these images, we will move them to ukwiki using bot (an example of bot's work is uk:Файл:War museum, Kyiv 6.jpg) and I will inform you once it's done so that you can delete them. If you do not want to undelete these images, please consider uploading them locally to Ukrainian Wikipedia, and we will correct descriptions ourselves.

Had you given me a chance to do so, I would have pointed out that even structures that are not buildings are nonetheless allowed to be photographed freely without concern for the underlying architectural copyright. The question before is us not whether the hat is a structure or a building (both are okay to photograph), but whether the hat is a structure or a sculpture -- that is, is it a work of architecture or of art? You cited a few photos that were listed for deletion. I edited two of them and provided reasonable caused to believe that they where in scope of public domain for Argentina. One for the IAI Dagger can be found here, and the other one is listed from the UK military under the name HMS Invincible returning home. I note that you have recently deleted the above image because it was a copyright violation. If you look at the news article the nominator gave for nominating for speedy deletion (http://www.colombomirror.com/tamil/?p=550) you will note that the article is from 14 October 2014 whereas the image you deleted was originally uploaded to English Wikipedia in December 2012. Muy buenos días no escribo con la formalidad de presentarme, tomando en cuenta que en este medio la comunicación es mediante seudónimos y todo lo demás. Desde hace ya algún tiempo viene ocurriendo con regularidad que eliminan algunos archivos y para ser honesto no lo he tomado en cuenta hasta ahora, aunque se que ustedes manejan su institución basándose en criterios muy bien definidos, y dudo mucho que necesiten ser educados al respecto, por tal razón les voy a hacer una aclaración muy puntual, referente al uso de las imágenes mencionadas, 1- es imposible que eliminen esas imágenes con la supuesta posibilidad de que las mismas violan los derechos de autor o propietario porque esas imágenes no son de ninguna propiedad ajena, todas y cada una de esas imágenes, son de libre distribución de la organización para el arte vision 3d internacional la cual tengo el a Gran de honor de administrar desde el inicio de su fundación, hasta la presente fecha bajo el cargo de: Presidente de la misma, por tal razón les agradeceré encarecidamente, que si poseen algún planteamiento referente a las artes gráficas mencionadas sobre el marco legal de dichas imágenes, o algún otro planteamiento por su parte favor sírvanse en enviar dicha información al correo electrónico oficial para ello: soporte@vision3d.eu.org desde hace algún tiempo he observado alguno que otro problema relacionado con el material publicado, nuestro equipo envió un comunicado a: permissions-commons@wikimedia.org aclarando el autor y los derechos de uso de nuestro material ilustrado con fecha: 21/09/2014 en esa oportunidad lo manejo el equipo de redacción y publicaciones, y nunca se obtuvo alguna respuesta por vuestra parte en vista de que aun así sigue presentándose inconvenientes preferí escribir yo mismo por este canal y así asegurar la veracidad de lo transmitido de nosotros para ustedes como organización, no obstante es posible que manejen algún tipo de dudas u otra posibilidad relacionada con el tema o alguna petición por vuestra parte, relativa a nuestras labores, favor envíenme un comunicado al correo antes descrito muy amablemente poseemos los canales para satisfacer los asuntos relacionados, tomando en cuenta lo anteriormente descrito tomamos la iniciativa de redactar este mismo comunicado y lo enviamos a: permissions-commons@wikimedia.org en la fecha: 24 December 2014

Es ist schade, aber genauso wie Morgen Kinder wirds was geben.ogg müssen auch die anderen Lieder aus der CD "Festliches Konzert - Bekannte Weihnachtslieder" auf Category:Audio-recordings of german Christmas carols gelöscht werden. Ich ergänze es mal auf deutsch ... Das ganze Verfahren ist aus meiner Sicht recht schwierig. Zur Kennzeichnung, dass die Genehmigung an das OTRS geschickt wurde, habe ich mal die Vorlage "OTRS pending" bei den drei Bildern eingetragen. Aber warum es schwierig ist: Ich betreibe den Aufwand mit den Berechtigungen öfter. So lade ich schon einmal ein paar Dateien hoch, um die Genehmigung beantragen und eintragen zu können. Die anderen Dateien zur selben Genehmigung folgen dann später. Wie ich als Anwender mich hier verhalten soll, ist mir völlig unklar, zumal ich von verschiedenen Leuten aus dem Genehmigungsteam schon unterschiedliche Auskünfte bekommen habe. (Ganz abgesehen davon, dass den Leuten, die ich um Genehmigung bitte, es manchmal unverständlich ist, warum ich das schriftlich benötige. In dem hier vorliegenden Fall wurde ich von den Besitzern sogar gebeten, die Aufnahmen zu machen - mündlich.) Aus meiner Sicht wäre es hilfreich, den korrekten Weg der Beantragung zu kennen, vor allem auch dann, wenn ich aus der Bilderserie schon einige Bilder hochgeladen habe. Oder wenn die Genehmigung - wie in diesem Fall - definitiv vorliegt, aber im OTRS noch nicht bearbeitet wurde. Bei mir bleibt ein wenig Verwirrung zurück ...--XRay talk 08:13, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

Hallo XRay. Zunächst mal eine definitive Aussage: Es ist wirklich kompliziert.
OTRS behandelt in erster Linie urheberrechtliche Aspekte. Im konkreten Fall sind die Rechte der Bilder unstrittig und bisher keine weiteren geschützen Werke zu sehen (unter der Annahme, dass die Rechte für die Gebäude abgelaufen sind), also ist kein OTRS erforderlich. Die Erlaubnis des Grundeigentümers, dort zu fotografieren, ist eigentlich etwas anderes, eher in Richtung einer {{OTRS Accreditation}}. Sollte in einem einzelne Foto nun jedoch z.B. ein Kunstwerk abgebildet sein, an denen der Grundeigentümer nur Besitzer aber nicht Rechteinhaber ist, laufen wir in das Problem, evtl. OTRS dranzuschreiben obwohl keine Rechte vorliegen. Nicht zuletzt aus diesem Grund ist der vorgesehene Weg, dass OTRS-Tags nur durch OTRS-Mitarbeiter vergeben werden.
Als Alternative schau bitte mal unter Category:Custom license tags, insbes. Category:Custom license tags with OTRS accreditation‎ und Category: Custom license tags with OTRS permission‎. Dies ist der eigentlich vorgesehene Weg für komplizierte Fälle, der jedoch nur wenig bekannt ist und selten verwendet wird. Es könnte sich lohnen, das hier noch entsprechend zu bauen, insbesondere da Du ja mit Templates vertraut bist. Falls Du Hilfe brauchst, melde Dich bitte gern. Danke! Das hilft mir erst einmal weiter. Ich werde versuchen, dies entsprechend zu berücksichtigen. Ich denke, ich stelle für mich erst einmal einen Leitfaden zusammen. Seit vielen Jahren beschäftige ich mich nun schon mit dem Fotorecht, da ich dies u. a. auch für einen Bildband benötigt habe. Es ist eine sehr komplexe Materie, vor allem, wenn man nicht nur in Deutschland fotografiert. Ich frage mich, warum wir nicht zumindest innerhalb der EU ein einfacheres Verfahren haben. Für Hobbyfotografen eigentlich zu schwierig. (Kennst du das Buch "Recht für Fotografen: Der Ratgeber für die fotografische Praxis" von Wolfgang Rau? Sehr lesenswert.) Aber sei es drum. Nach Möglichkeit bringe ich gerne meine Erfahrungen bzgl. diverser Fragen ein.
(Und als Ergänzung zu meinen Bildern des Hauses Osthoff. Da kommen direkt eine Menge Aspekte zusammen. Das Haus allein ist eigentlich kein Problem, es ist nur das Hausrecht zu beachten. Aber schon bei den am Haus hängenden Elementen oder beim Garten geht es los, denn dort kann es Schützenswertes geben. Daher ist dort auf jeden Fall das ORTS-Ticket nötig gewesen.)

Hello, could you explain why you deleted this image? What is different to the other snooker tournament logos at Category:Snooker competitions? Does this not meet the criteria of "consisting of simple geometric shapes and/or text" from the {{PD-textlogo}} template? Hi BlueFire10. The logo is obviously not covered by pd-textlogo as it contains graphics within the player icon and background. You can _maybe_ upload it in you local Wikipedia, but it cannot be kept at Commons without permission for a free license. Thank you. --Krd 18:16, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
