File:His Excellency Most Reverend W. Shawn McKnight Bishop Ordination Diocese of Jefferson City February 6 2018 Chair.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

I am sorry. Did I not file this correctly? The photographer did not want to open his own Wikipedia account and sent me the images. He preferred for me to upload them and he has given all rights. He was actually happy to put them on Wikipedia for everyone to see. He is very proud of them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 3rdtimesacharm (talk • contribs) 20:15, 17 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hi. I just came upon your problem here. You might consider using the OTRS process. The link I provided explains the process. That way the photographer, who has to give his permission to release the images under a free license, does not have to create his own account and the photos will be uploaded to the Commons officially. By the way, you need to do all of his photos, not this one alone.
In a different matter, do you know if the photographer got any photos of the cathedral itself, without specifically focusing on the bishop? I have been trying to get decent photos of the US cathedrals, and the photos we have of St. Joseph in Jefferson City are not the best. I know it's a bit of a long shot, but I thought I would take this opportunity to ask. I hope the OTRS idea works out for you. Farragutful (talk) 23:09, 4 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much Farragutful. I appreciate the help. There is a lot to learn here. I will share the OTRS process with the photographer. Thank you again. He wants to share the photos but has no desire to set up an account. This will help. I actually might be able to help you with the St Joseph Cathedral photo also. If he does not have one, I think I know where I can get one. That is wonderful that you are puttin all the cathedral photos up. I love that! I can also help you with who to talk to for the Diocese of Wichita if that helps you out. I hope you have a great Friday! 3rdtimesacharm — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2600:8803:7986:2200:14E2:C2D1:AF2A:3990 (talk) 22:04, 6 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
