- Hello, it'done, thanks. Cabrijavern (talk) 18:24, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry, my mistake, I thought that I checked it correctly
- The use of the Cat-a-Lot gadget isn't so simple
- The category needs to be filled in the blank. The option is activated with <ENTER>.

Over-categorization
edit- Commons:Categories#Over-categorization
- Please, don't over-categorize
- If genus 'Rosa' is in the category 'rosids' and 'rosids' are in the category 'angiosperms', then the genus 'Rosa' is automatically in the category 'angiosperms'
- If category 'World War I officers of Switzerland' is in the category 'Military officers', then category 'World War I officers of Switzerland' is automatically in the category 'Military officers'
- Thx --Chris.urs-o (talk) 15:56, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
Note
edit- Hello
- (Thinking)
- As I understand the Wikipedia projects
- Commons, Wikidata, Wikispecies are service projects of the main Wikipedia projects:
- English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Chinese
- So the categorization should be useful
- Category:Switzerland in World War I > Category:Switzerland in World War I (people) > Category:World War I officers of Switzerland
- Category:Military people by country > Category:Military people of Switzerland > Category:World War I officers of Switzerland
- Category:Switzerland in World War I (people) are mainly useless images
- Category:World War I officers of Switzerland are potentially usefull images
- Categories on officers are under 'Military people of Switzerland', because officers are longer in the Swiss Army than the time period 1914 to 1918
- Regards --Chris.urs-o (talk) 08:09, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
- P.S.: I created Category:Switzerland in World War I (localities)
- Category:CH-BAR Collection First World War Switzerland should be permanent, and parent categories are not allowed (over-categorization)
- 'Category:CH-BAR Collection First World War Switzerland' and {{CH-BAR-picture}} are a pair
- as 'Category:National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration' (NOAA) and {{PD-USGov-NOAA}} are one pair as well
- Merry X'mas and Happy 2014 --Chris.urs-o (talk) 12:29, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
