Deletion requests/File:Walkerburn Power Scheme 1854-1921.pdf edit
@Magog the Ogre: Seems like there is confusion regarding which Henry Ballantyne this refers to. This file pertains to Sir Henry Ballantyne, born 8th March, 1955 in Melrose, died 15th July, 1941 in Haddington (buried in St Andrews Cemetery, Peebles). [1]
This was reported in the Aberdeen Press and Journal on 16th July, 1941: "Sir Henry Ballantyne. who has died at Haddington at the age of eighty-six, was a well-known Border Liberal, educationist, and manufacturer. He was chairman of the Royal Commission on Scottish Housing and for eight years president". [2] [3]
