- Can you update to show the section of the coastal line from Netanya to Binyamina as electrified? I saw a Siemens Desiro EMU operating to Binyamina yesterday at Savidor.
- Love this map, btw! 2A06:C701:4E16:A800:CD5D:6A47:77DD:E0B 23:05, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
Update request for File:Israeli-Palestinian Railways.svg
editHello.
Can you update File:Israeli-Palestinian Railways.svg? Since 2019, the entire section of the Eastern Railway line between Lod and Hadera, is being rebuilt, upgraded and also electrified. The whole Eastern Railway line, will include not only freight traffic, but also passenger traffic. The railway line in grey needs to be colored in dashed red.
Can you apply the same updates in File:Israeli-Palestinian Railways (Full).svg, because it shows all of Israel?

- Do you happen to have any sources regarding the status of the works on the Eastern Railway? Last time I checked, they were building something between Rosh HaAyin and Tira, but not any further north towards Hadera. Crash48 (talk) 17:38, 8 September 2023 (UTC)
- As far as I deciphered from the sources (via a machine translator) in the article Eastern Railway, the entire section from Hadera to Rosh HaAyin is included (the grey line in the map) in this project. Unfortunately, because I don't know Hebrew, I cannot find more information about this. I am sure there are in the internet. English language sources about this project are very few and inadequate. - I found one source which states that the section between Hadera and Rosh Ha’ayin is under construction, which will directly connect Hadera and Lod.

- I am sure there are detailed web sources in Hebrew about this. Because I don't know Hebrew, I am stuck. Multituberculata (talk) 19:17, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot for the reference! I have now changed the entire section from Hadera to Rosh HaAyin into dashed red. Crash48 (talk) 20:36, 16 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for the update! Multituberculata (talk) 00:21, 17 September 2023 (UTC)

Hello.
Can you make just a very small update in File:Israeli-Palestinian Railways (Full).svg? The Ra'anana West railway station opened in 2018 and was connected to the Tel Aviv-Haifa railway line. The tiny red dashed section needs to be colored in dark blue. That is all.

- File:Israeli-Palestinian Railways (Full).svg is unused in wiki projects; badly out of date; and of uncertain value: while titled "Israeli-Palestinian Railways", ¾ of the image are taken up by areas (Sinai, seas, etc.) which are neither Israel nor Palestine, and have no railways in them. My own suggestion would be to request its deletion as COM:NOTUSED; @Mapeh: what's your opinion? Crash48 (talk) 20:33, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hello. I'm not very active, so this is coming a quite late. The "Full" map is, as you say, not used and out of date. That said, it does include valuable data on the Sinai portion of the former Palestine railways, which has been reduced to a diagram in the main map. Maybe the solution would be to upload a map of just the Sinai portion, that could be used when necessary, and then delete the full map? Regards, Mapeh (talk) 13:15, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
