Images from Wiki Loves Switzerland 2022 - off topic
editHello, I noticed you moved some images in this category. On what criteria did you do that ?
For example for
this image, what was the reason for this move ? And for this one ? And this one ? The contest says Participants take pictures that best describe the Swiss nature. What's wrong with these pictures ?
Another point : please try to add adequate categories on each picture you move.
Sincerely, Pmau (talk) 09:31, 23 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @Pmau I answer here because @GF-wmch is helping in the selection. The categories are created to select the pictures for Wiki Loves Earth contests where the two categories are "landscapes" and "closeup". The category "off-topic" is a temporary category we are putting pictures that we have doubts and we are evaluating if to include or not. The first image is still under evaluation because nature is more "wild" nature than agriculture while the second is definitely not "nature of Switzerland" because the antropic part is predominant and the third is perfect but there is the alert the the picture has been nominated to be cancelled. Anyways I repeat that this is a "transitional" category. Thank you. Ilario (talk) 11:44, 23 June 2022 (UTC)
- I hope it's clear now for you.

- Hello @Ilario, thanks for your explainations. I understand better. Perhaps a better name would have used the suffix "_to_check" as in Category:Images from Wiki Loves Earth 2019 in France to check. Maybe for next year... Pmau (talk) 12:23, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
