Native American Tribal Jurisdiction Same-Sex Marriage Map

edit
I really like the map you created (Same-sex unions by US counties and cities.) Do you think it would be possibly to make a similar map for Native American Tribal Jurisdictions? That would be very helpful! Tribes would be broken up into three categories: Tribes that legalized same-sex marriage, Tribes that outlawed same-sex marriage, and tribes that have no law permitting nor prohibiting same-sex marriage. So uh, if you could make one that would be great and if not.. I understand.
Thank you, --Prcc27 (talk) 06:21, 22 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please rename image.

Could you please move US Attorney Generals Supporting SSM.svg to US Attorneys Generals Supporting SSM.svg. The proper plural of Attorney General is Attorneys General. Like Court Martial, the noun (which is first) is pluralized, not the adjective).Naraht (talk) 19:20, 12 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Revert Utah to U.S. baby blue and color Nicaragua beige (reason: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_talk:World_homosexuality_laws.svg#Nicaragua_should_be_beige ). People are coloring Mozambique yellow again because they are reverting the whole of your edit rather than specifically removing Utah. Srtª PiriLimPomPom (talk) 01:59, 13 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

US counties and cities with sexual orientation and gender identity protection.svg changes?

edit

Greetings - I was curious if you could explain why you removed Union Township, Branch County, Michigan from the File:US counties and cities with sexual orientation and gender identity protection.svg map and what Michigan city in Cass County has an ordinance? You mentioned it was a border issue - are you implying that a part of South Bend, Indiana borders or is in Cass County? This file helps illustrate that it does not border or enter Cass County. --Varnent (talk)(COI) 07:51, 15 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for re-adding Branch County - but why keep Cass County? -Varnent (talk)(COI) 03:30, 16 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please stop reverting

edit

Again, please stop reverting without discussing first. That map was intentionally made (by me) to be made for counties and cities ONLY. The national map and the article itself covers that there are statewide protections (which are disputed anyway btw). This map is meant to cover local, not state, laws. You are welcome to create another map, but the legend and elsewhere clearly states these are cities and counties with coverage. What you are doing implies that public employees of any random county is covered - which is false. --Varnent (talk)(COI) 15:46, 3 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

The executive order is for public employees of the state government - and does not cover county or city employees - hence the reason to have county and cities mapped out separately. --Varnent (talk)(COI) 15:50, 3 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Seriously - what is the deal? --Varnent (talk)(COI) 05:41, 22 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Again - please stop making the Michigan map wrong. --Varnent (talk)(COI) 05:54, 16 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
