Our first steps tour and our FAQ will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy. You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki—it is really easy. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (direct access). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at Commons talk:Licensing. |

Thanks for uploading File:PAN International Logo.png. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you. |

- This is a logo of a non profit organization. How should it be tagged for fair use? Gtoffoletto (talk) 10:00, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Εὐθυμένης any ideas on how to fix this for logos? Thanks Gtoffoletto (talk) 21:23, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, there's no such thing as "fair use" on Commons. Maybe, another alternative could be to send an email to the VRT following the steps described in the notice that I've left right above. 🏺ⲈⲨⲐⲨⲘⲈⲚⲎⲊ🏛️ ⲱⲑⲏⲥⲁⲧⲉ 23:11, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Εὐθυμένης No copyright holder would ever sign that. All of the logos on commons should therefore be deleted? What about this one for example? File:Microsoft logo (2012).svg Gtoffoletto (talk) 04:19, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Εὐθυμένης your message mentions that the deletion can be challenged but it references a button which doesn’t exist. I’ve modified the licensing section of the file in accordance with Commons:LICENSE and its guide for logos. Gtoffoletto (talk) 23:08, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- Since I've updated the licensing. I'll remove the notice to avoid a speedy deletion. Gtoffoletto (talk) 20:14, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
