Days of the year

If you look at this edit, you'll see I added and "External Links" section. I'd like toi add that to the other 364 days of the year. Can the bot do that? Category:People by name

Robert.Allen , That is very strange. All the categories on my list were chosen as categories with "death" and "birth" categories that do not have Category:People by name. Recreation of deleted file pages with {{Copyvio}} tag

I just noticied that this bot recreated this file deleted by Ellin Beltz as Copyvio, and inmediatelly after, this bot edited this page (of an inexistent file) as Copyvio.

• Is there a bug in the bot?
• Or is actually neccesary to tag recently deleted files for administrative purposes?

Notice that the reason for Speedy is the same that uses Krdbot, that I already warned about its problems and suggesting to Krd don't touch files after at least 12 hours after first uploading. This bot may be adjusted in the same way, too. --Amitie 10g (talk) 19:30, 16 September 2015 (UTC)

I am not certain what this message is about. My last 500 Contributions do not show that I deleted this file, nor does the file history doesn't show that, see [1]. While there may be a bug, I don't see that I was involved in this file in any way. I deleted files of this series, but this one was already on the daily summary when I started. Cheers! That is a funny coincidence that Ellin Beltz was deleting the file at the same split second when I was editing it. My "touch" edit, which did not changed anything on the page but refreshed some categories, might have interfeted with the deletion. I was only running Pywikibot/touch.py. I still do not see why you think the bot did not work properly, but you can comment at Pywikibot/touch.py. --Jarekt (talk) 03:05, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

Hello! The author of this photo obviously died less than 100 years ago, because in 1915 the depicted person was just 7 years old and that is definitely not a child in the picture (also the description says that the photograph was taken in 1940-45). --INS Pirat (talk) 21:44, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

I was updating the license in all the files so I was also doing other cleanup like adding the category so the template does not have to be adding it. The auto-categorization by some of the Book templates is quite confusing to many as the regular tools do not work with it.
