"Mural in the New Hamburg District." edit
Hi, Jesse, I'm very sorry but I only found your message on my discussion page a few minutes ago... and your file is now in the archive without any assessment. I don't really know the way the bot operates but I have to apologize for this problem because I'm partly responsible of this situation. I had a look at your file three times during the three first days after my comment... and I forgot it. Anyway, your picture has not been declined so you can nominate it again tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Just add in small characters "New try : previously unassessed". I'll promote it then if no one has done it before, because I think it deserves the QI seal. Sorry again for this delay.-- Best regards. --JLPC (talk) 21:50, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll do that. I'm new here, and I appreciate your patience.--Jesse Dymond 21:54, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
- No problem : even though I'm an old man, and after two years and a half on the QIC page, I'm still new here and often absent-minded... I had a look at your file this morning, but, as I told you on my last mail, someone (Jacek Halicki) had already promoted it. So, everything is all right now. -- I appreciated your picture because it's almost impossible to take similar ones in France now : all such mural adds were visible, with bright colours, when I was a child... but they've almost disappeared since and all I can do, from time to time, is trying to photograph some remains. -- I hope we'll see more of your pictures on Commons soon. Sorry for my English. Best regards. --JLPC (talk) 19:58, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you. That is really encouraging. In rural Ontario, there are many old buildings, and those with historical designation must be maintained. Murals are harder to find, but I will do my best. Knowing that these images are appreciated by others inspires me to shoot more.--Jesse Dymond 20:23, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
