Dear Joaomartinho63,

Thank you for contributing to Wiki Loves Monuments and sharing your pictures with the whole world. You are very welcome to keep uploading images, even though you can't win prizes any longer. To get started on editing relevant Wikipedia articles, click here for more information and help.
You can find all uploaded pictures in our central media collection Wikimedia Commons. Many photos are already used in Wikipedia. The contest was very successful with more than 165,000 images submitted throughout Europe. To make future contests even more successful, we would like to invite you to share your experiences with us in this survey.

Kind regards,

the Wiki Loves Monuments team

Parabéns! edit

  Executive Director's Barnstar

Hi Joao! I am happy to award you with the Executive Director's Barnstar, to celebrate you for taking the winning photograph in the Portuguese Wiki Loves Monuments competition: the ruined main nave of the Carmo Chuch in Lisboa. The picture is stunning: thank you for posting it to Commons!

The Executive Director's Barnstar is an award that I give out every now and then, created for me by my colleague Frank Schulenberg, to celebrate and honour editors who are making a particularly significant contribution to the Wikimedia projects. You have been nominated for it by Steven Walling.

I know you're pretty new to the projects: you've only made a few dozen contributions. That is one of the things I love about the Wiki Loves Monuments competition -- it encourages new people to get involved with Wikimedia. I want to thank you for what you've done here so far, and I hope you decide to stick around!

If you, or anyone reading this, wants to nominate an editor for the ED Barnstar, please feel free to do it on my talk page. And thanks to Steven Walling, for making this nomination. Sue Gardner (talk) 01:53, 31 December 2011 (UTC) |}Reply
