Hola kordas. Desconozco el procedimiento en Commons para solicitar el borrado de mi página y que se me considere retirado del proyecto. Candidatas a imágenes de Calidad

Hola Kordas! necesito que me eches una mano con un asunto de Commons. Nominé ayer una imagen a "Imagen de Calidad"[1] y me la han denegado por no haber puesto descripción (no creo que eso sea una razón de peso), así que la he vuelto a nominar añadiendo la descripción. He visto en otras ocasiones que se puede volver a nominar una imagen si te detectan algún fallo, pero en mi caso me la han borrado sin más. ¿Hay algún procedimiento o algo que pueda hacer para que valoren realmente la imagen que queria nominar y no me la vuelvan a borrar?.Un Saludo--Anuskafm 17:05, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Dayan 9th Brigade 1956

There is a little issue about the information box you provided at Image:Dayan 9th Brigade 1956.jpg. The parts asking for the source, date and author refer to the real creation and creator of the photo, not the uploader of it. That's only the case when the uploader is himself the creator of the image as well. Golf Bravo at he.wikipedia is not the creator of the image, it's not because of him that the image is in the public domain, so there's no reason why to credit him or such first upload at that project. On the contrary, the description should provide the information to confirm that the image was made at least 50 years ago and by a source located in Israel for {{PD Israel}} to apply

Besides, considering that the copyright status has been unclear the first time this image was uploaded in commons, the description should provide traslations to english, to be easily understood by everybody Thialfi 18:58, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Perdón, pero es la costumbre. Justamente por la cantidad de gente de tantos lugares distintos y que habla tantos idiomas distintos que hay en Commons, me puse por norma hablar con otros usuarios en inglés salvo que me pidan lo contrario. The imagesource is given, http://www.notes.co.il/karny/808.asp, but it is unclear in which way it is related to an US Gov employee and his work. Ill try to find someone on he.wp. --Martin H. I saw that you tagged a image for rename but your not on the checkpage for the bot (Commons:MediaMoveBot/CheckPage) Please go to the the talk page and put your name up for approval so that the bot can automatically rename your request instead of waiting for someone else on that list to confirm for you. Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Gracias por modificar la imagen, no me manejo muy bien en commons. Yo solamente he rellenado el formulario al subir la imagen por lo que lo de los títulos aparece sólo, no sabía que había que hacerlo a través de plantillas. In case you did not know

liftran is the user, who flooded Commons with highly offensive anti-Semitic cartoons,some of which glorify violence against Israel, and with the help of others, he does not allow to put them to the category Antisemitic pictures, or category Propoganda. Rectifica la foto del ayuntamiento de Carabaña

Hola, la imagen "File:Gadeiras314.svg" retocada por ti, no se ve bien. Aparece un cuadrado negro en medio de la imagen. La imagen la cree yo , y antes no pasaba. No sé si es problema de mi navegador... Pero creo que el cuadrado negro grande aparece donde debe de estar las letras de "Océano Atlántico". Gracias a ti por subirlas. También habría que categorizarlas por estilo (renacimiento, barroco, etc), aunque eso es ya más complicado. En este enlace está la guía de arquitectura de Jaén de la Consejería de Obras Públicas al completo. Es muy útil para encontrar fechas exactas de edificios.
