Balance at File:Acetic anhydride preparation 2.png edit
This file seems like it intends to be a balanced reaction ("2" coefficients, lots of byproducts on the right). But there is no reactant that contains sodium and there are more chlorines on the product side than the reactant side. Is the phosgene simply a dehydrating agent (catalyzed by AlCl3), in which case the byproduct would be CO2 not NaCl? DMacks (talk) 17:44, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
- You're totally right. I will correct it soon. — Mfomich (talk) 17:54, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
- Looks good now. Thanks for the quick fix! DMacks (talk) 02:58, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
