September 2019: it's Wiki Loves Monuments time again!

edit

Hi

You're receiving this message because you've previously contributed to the annual Wiki Loves Monuments contest in Ireland. We'd be delighted if you would enter again this year, and continue to build on the image archive of Ireland's built heritage.

You can find more details at the Wiki Loves Monuments Ireland website. If you have images taken in other countries, you can check the international options. Once again, this year's contest runs until 30 September 2019.

Thanks again for your help and enthusiasm! Smirkybec (talk) 19:27, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Dunkellin bridge

edit

Hello and thanks for the photos you uploaded. I have a questions: this bridge File:County Galway - Dunkellin Bridge - 20200913140315.jpg is not the Dunkellin bridge that is listed on the National Heritage database. If you know the name of the bridge or a description of the location, let me know and I'll rename it. Thanks, -- Deadstar (msg) 12:15, 5 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I seem to have mistaken a nearby bridge for the Dunkellin Bridge. The bridge in the photo is part of recently completed flood defences in the area, at the location 53.214394, -8.851370. Thank you, and apologies for the mixup. -- Newbert12 (talk) 10:06, 6 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your reply! I have updated the description to include the coordinates + information you provided. It is still a bridge over the Dunkellin, so I didn't move the file to a new name. See what you think. Thanks again for your help. -- Deadstar (msg) 10:38, 6 October 2020 (UTC) (PS: I have updated all three files. And if you use four tildes (~) in a row, it will sign your name. Hope that helps :))Reply
Yes it does, thank you! :) Newbert12 (talk) 17:06, 11 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
