Hello, I'm glad you understand Wikipedia's policies on uploading images, but this is not Wikipedia. Wikipedia allows fair use images, Wikimedia commons only permits freely licensed files. Can you give me an example of a file or two that you'd like to upload thats free? ~riley (talk) 18:14, 25 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason: "I am requesting an unblock as I am now accustomed to what copyrighted, un-free and free files are."
Decline reason: "This account (Oluwa2Chainz) was blocked 16. October 2015. Subsequent to that block, the sockpuppet KingWire was created 25. November 2015. From that time, you have uploaded numerous copyvios (e.g. that same day, 25. November 2015 - File:J57 performing 2014.jpg - see watermark in lower left), including as recently as 2 August 2016 (e.g. File:Muoka Lazarus.jpg can be found on numerous websites dating back to at least 2015). The socking to avoid the block is bad enough, but clearly your statement(s) about understanding copyright is/are false. See Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by KingWire for more. Note that Oluwa2Chainz has been using a sockpuppet, KingWire while blocked. This issue should be addressed before unblocking. Эlcobbola talk 18:07, 10 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason: "Requesting an unblock because I have taken my time to understand Creative Commons licenses and I have also been introduced to websites like Flickr, photopin and PublicDomainPictures.net where one can get free licensed photos. You can check out my recent Wikipedia upload log. Oluwa2Chainz (talk) 08:01, 11 July 2017 (UTC)"Reply
Decline reason: "A) Of the ten images you've uploaded to en.wiki in 2017, seven are non-free (i.e., they demonstrate no experience relevant to the Commons), one was deleted, one is likely a laundered license, and one is fine - that's a paltry 10.0 percent; B) You make no reference to sockpuppetry, the reason for which this account is blocked; and C) Sock accounts are not generally unblocked; requests need to be made with the master account (see Category:Sockpuppets of Coal Press Nation for the at least ten (!!!) accounts you've used here.) Please also see COM:BLOCK and note that repeated posting of unblock requests that do not address the issue(s) may result in the removal of the ability to edit the talk page. @Elcobbola: so cos I had a sock case implies that I can no longer request for an unblock? I give up! And you should note that I have nothing related to Coal Press or whatever. You can run a check user. Oluwa2Chainz (talk) 20:59, 11 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
No, it does not imply that.
  1. Your accounts have been blocked for both copyright violations and sockpuppetry.
  2. COM:BLOCK requires articulation of an understanding of the issue(s) for which you were blocked and a credible commitment to discontinue.
  3. Taken together, the foregoing requires your unblock request to address both copyright violations and sockpuppetry.
  4. Your requests here, however, have sought only to address copyright violations and, for the reasons provided, have not been credible--a required threshold.
  5. You have thus repeatedly failed to address credibly the first issue and failed to address entirely the second issue.
  6. Accordingly, I advised you that "repeated posting of unblock requests that do not address the issue(s)" may result in the removal of the ability to edit the talk page. Nowhere have I said or implied "cos [you] had a sock case implies that [you] can no longer request for an unblock." Please read critically.
I will reiterate that your sockpuppetry is Confirmed, and indeed should be obvious even without CU rights by comparing the edits of, for example, Oluwa2Chainz and KingWire (e.g. w:Young Scrap, w:Saheed Osupa, w:Fifi Cooper, w:DJ Tab, etc.) Эlcobbola talk 21:57, 11 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
