File:Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - Carroll, Robinson - S163 - 'Up, lazy thing!' said the Queen.jpg
editHello,
Could you explain why you claim that this picture is authored by Charles Robinson ?
According to the link you provide as source : http://www.archive.org/details/turesalicesadven00carrrich , the illustrator is Tenniel, John, Sir, 1820-1914.

- That page contains a couple errors. Look at the first few pages of the book itself to see the illustrator credit. – Quoth (talk) 08:30, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- You should write this down near this link every time you use this link as source information. Otherwise, you are helping to spread false information all over the internet. You should provide accurate source information (book title, book publisher, name of the city where the book was published, page number) rather than a bogus link. Teofilo (talk) 08:50, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- It's not a "bogus link." That is in fact the source of these images, which are available there for verification, and I take offence at the accusation of "helping to spread false information all over the internet." I can hardly be held accountable for every fact (correct or incorrect) which appears on that page (at the moment or in the future). All that's being said by placing that link in the source field, is that it happens to be the original source for these images. If someone needs to verify the facts here, they should look at the primary source, which is available at the linked page in numerous formats. What information I have provided is accurate, in as much, at least, that it isn't incorrect.
- That being said, I agree that I could be more specific. Could you perhaps point me towards an example of the recommended reference style I should use? – Quoth (talk) 10:03, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
editHello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Quoth. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Quoth~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
