Hello StefanSchulzDe, please note that Creative Commons licenses are non-revocable. Did you take the picture yourself? Blurpeace 04:30, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The picture is taken by my wife and I cropped it to the given size. While I always ask her permissions for using her photographs, unfortunately, for this specific picture I forgot asking her about CC licensing. I'm sorry for that and for the rather clumpsy deletion request reason I gave. Thanks --StefanSchulzDe (talk) 08:38, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I've deleted the image. Are you sure you can't convince her to license the image freely, preferably under a Creative Commons license? Thanks, Blurpeace 02:28, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I tried about licensing, but she's unpleased with the quality of this particular picture and does not want it to be published and associated with her name. Not sure, if this would be different with putting it completely to the Public Domain (i.e., no reference to the author?). --StefanSchulzDe (talk) 09:04, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
She could publish the image through your account anonymously and release it into the public domain. By going about it that way, she would not be associated with the image. Blurpeace 17:17, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Winfrid Trenkler at Schallwelle 2009 by Werner Volmer.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you.

Are you the photographer? If yes then link the name to your username but If you're not then we would need an email sent to OTRS (For the details see COM:OTRS) with the permission and license type (IE: PD, CC-BY or CC-BY-SA) from the copyright holder (which is not always the photographer if they are working for an media outlet or have been hired). Also one email can cover all the images as long as it is stated in the email. Bidgee (talk) 10:11, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
(Copy of my reply on my talk page) Nope, just a wait an see. I'll add the OTRS permission pending template. Though do you have the OTRS ID number? Just that I can add that onto the template so it makes it easier for the OTRS volunteer to find the email. Bidgee (talk) 02:33, 27 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I don't have any OTRS number ... maybe my mail failed or was considered spam? --StefanSchulzDe (talk) 07:31, 27 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Maybe, doesn't matter greatly but just makes it easier to find. I'll contact an OTRS volunteer to see if they can find it. Bidgee (talk) 07:41, 27 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks a million :D --StefanSchulzDe (talk) 17:17, 27 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I resent the permission file and now got a reply and an OTRS number: Ticket#2010012810046762. --StefanSchulzDe (talk) 20:00, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
