Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Konvertierung als SVG

Hallo Universalamateur, wenn ich es richtig sehe, warst Du derjenige, der das taz-Log zu SVG konvertiert hat. Sag' mal, könntest Du das auch für:

tun oder ist das wegen dem Aufbau der Grafik nicht möglich.

Ich habe die Grafik in taz.FUTURZWEI eingebunden. Es sieht aber nicht so "schön" aus . . .

hi, ich habe mich gefragt, wieso du das jpg in png konvertiert hast? die dateigröße ist deutlich gestiegen - kenn mich mit raster nicht so gut aus - gurß --Mrmw (talk) 20:24, 15 January 2020 (UTC)

JPEG ist ein verlustbehaftetes Format und eher für Fotos als für Diagramme u.ä. geeignet. Das heißt, jedesmal wenn man ein JPEG öffnet, gearbeitet und speichert, die Bildqualität schlechter wird. PNG komprimiert verlustfrei und das Problem tritt nicht auf. Universalamateur (talk) 20:48, 15 January 2020 (UTC)

Es gibt Tools die können JPEG ohne qualitätsverluste bearbeiten: siehe http://jpegclub.org/losslessapps.html

Ich verwende z.B. Jpegcrop und Commons:CropTool (lossless mode), aber das heißt auch dass man nur vielfache von 8/16 Pixel wegschneiden kann.

@Mrmw: aber wenn man den Inhalt ändert, dann treten 100% Qualitätsverluste beim speichern auf auch wenn man die JPEG-Qualität auf 100% setzt. Lies dir vl. mal w:de:JPEG#Verlustfreie_Nachbearbeitung_von_JPEG durch und schau dir dort das rechte Bild an, das mehrfach gedreht wurde.

Ob die Qualtitäsunterschiede (wird ja nur einmal und nicht 1000male bearbeitet) die PNG-Dateigröße rechtfertigen ist eine andere Frage, aber ich hätte es auch in PNG konvertiert.

@JoKalliauer: danke - ja ich weiss das jpeg verlustbehaftet ist, und hätte auch drauf kommen können, dass es beim wiederholten speichern zum echten problem wird, dachte aber nicht dran --Mrmw (talk) 18:26, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
