If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|cc-by-sa-2.5}} to release it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. I have a permission for this picture it am also there with the Web address. Here mail to bestehtigung those are the pictures for your Site: Obacht: All pictures, which begin with pH, come from Paul Heublein paul.heublein@web.de, whom I ask you to also still ask in order permission that might however no problem be. The pictures, which begin with cb, come from Carl Bellingrodt, which cannot you any longer ask, might however normally no problem be. All other pictures has I "geknipst" cb-lobberich-01 and 02 to come from 15 May 1953 grefrath01 shows up the goods sheds in March 2000 grefrath02 is from the same date, I am however no longer reliably, where exactly the place is, it concerns a former signalman's cabin grefrath03 probably shows the BUe equal with the BF grefrath04 developed anlaeslich for a ETA Sonderfahrt over all at that time distances already shut down, I believe 1991 lobberich.jpg developed with equivalent opportunity ph-grefrath-01 shows the station Grefrath still with tracks before it, probably 1985 ph-lobberich-02 BF Lobberich around 1974 ph-lobberich-01 BF Lobberich with the outline 1977 pH-oedt all of approx.. 1980 oedt.jpg originate from the medium center sets of the Viersen, where you can get it perhaps still in better quality, meins are scanned only from a book. It probably shows the BF of the Krefelder railway should you further information need, can you gladly me contact. Please you consider expressly the rights of Paul Heublein, please sit down you with him in connection mfg to Heinz Nieveler.

Vielen Dank für das Hochladen von Dateien auf Wikimedia Commons. Bitte denke daran, dass die Bilder und Mediendateien auf Commons für Nutzer von allen Wikimedia-Projekten nützlich sein sollen. Dies ist nur möglich, wenn die Bilder auch von anderen gefunden werden können.

Um dies zu ermöglichen, sollen Bilder sollten in das Kategoriesystem eingeordnet sein. Deshalb sollten die Bilder in eine passende Kategorie eingeordnet sein, zusätzlich ist es möglich, die Bilder auf Galerieseiten einzubinden. Um gute Kategorien zu finden, bietet das Tool CommonSense Hilfe.

Eine Übersicht über alle von dir hochgeladenen Dateien findest du hier.

Wichtig ist, dass Bilder an irgendeiner Stelle eingeordnet werden. Es gibt eine große Anzahl von Bildern, die noch unsortiert sind. Hilf mit, diese Anzahl nicht weiter wachsen zu lassen!

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
