Hallo Wittener, sei gegrüßt. Schau doch auch mal auf de:Wikipedia:Ruhrgebiet vorbei. In Sachen Kategorien, es gibt da auch Ortskategorien wie category:Witten und category:Bochum und auch Sachkategorien. Also einfach mal [[category:....]] einsetzen... Vielen Dank für das Hochladen von Dateien auf Wikimedia Commons. Bitte denke daran, dass die Bilder und Mediendateien auf Commons für Nutzer von allen Wikimedia-Projekten nützlich sein sollen. Dies ist nur möglich, wenn die Bilder auch von anderen gefunden werden können.

Um dies zu ermöglichen, sollen Bilder sollten in das Kategoriesystem eingeordnet sein. Deshalb sollten die Bilder in eine passende Kategorie eingeordnet sein, zusätzlich ist es möglich, die Bilder auf Galerieseiten einzubinden. Um gute Kategorien zu finden, bietet das Tool CommonSense Hilfe.

Eine Übersicht über alle von dir hochgeladenen Dateien findest du hier.

Wichtig ist, dass Bilder an irgendeiner Stelle eingeordnet werden. Es gibt eine große Anzahl von Bildern, die noch unsortiert sind. Hilf mit, diese Anzahl nicht weiter wachsen zu lassen!

Mir ist aufgefallen, dass du einige Bilder hochgeladen hast, und ich dachte ich sollte deine Aufmerksamkeit auf einen häufigen Fehler lenken.

Bitte versieh Bilder die du hochlädst mit sinnvollen Namen. Anderenfalls ist es schwierig sie zu finden, und es ist schwer zu sagen worum es in dem Bild geht ohne es sich tatsächlich anzugucken. Ich schlage vor, du gibst jedem Bild einen intuitiven Namen, der das Bild beschreibt. Vielen Dank, und viel Spaß beim Editieren! Siebrand 14:54, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your account will be renamed edit

Hello,

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.

Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Wittener. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Wittener~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.

Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
