This Summer's Gonna Hurt / Arena Rock edit

I guess this is your talk page. Anyway, I was wondering would arena rock be better described as alternative rock or merely rock in general because it has always seemed like part of rock music in general to perform music in large arenas and stages. I merely would wish to discuss this.

To answer your question directly, I'd prefer it'd be described as merely rock. I would say that "arena rock" isn't a genre to begin with, however. In my opinion, it's just a way to stereotype music that has the same "edge" or "feel" of a song being performed in front of a big crowd in a big venue. Also, just letting you know, I've also got a talk page on WP right here if you wish to message me in the future. Aria1561 (talk) 22:22, 1 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
