Cropped images
editHello Bozzio. I've reverted your crops to the various Chuck Shumer images. Overwriting existing images with crops is generally okay for removing borders or other very minor alterations, but for major focuses or changes, these crops should be uploaded as new images. If you are using CropTool, it has a built in function to upload under a new filename. Another reason for not overwriting is for images such as File:Thomas Perez, Chuck Schumer, and Steny Hoyer, April 2016.jpg, where the filename indicates three people. When you cropped to focus only on Schumer, it fundamentally changes the nature of the image, and the filename and description no longer makes sense. If you have any questions, please let me know. — Huntster (t @ c) 03:56, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
