  • Hiy,INeverCryThe reason of blocking my account is really stagnant of my mindset about sabotage of my rights and all reasons given on the bases of copyright violation is premature which are promptly being moved with no conditions, my dear editor according to all photos caused my account blocked, are starting with the 1st block which is a matter of hear says and which is unverifiable. At any stage of burden of prove is bonafide to complainant about his rights to be infringed, counterfeited of bootlegged and 2nd block which directed you to block my account is very minor which is stipulating completely a smell of discrimination to African bid. All photos deleted was uploaded by the owners of hotels eg: Naura hotels, Impala and Ngurdoto hotels uploaded by Elieta the Hotels officer, The Palace Arusha hotel uploaded by Ahmed the IT Officer of the Hotel, even thou the Arusha Hotel photos was also deleted while the latter of permission sent to permission@Wikimedia.org what violation you’re talking about why don’t you specified that you don’t need us among of Wikimedia Community if it’s in your mind set that Wikimedia specialized not Africa your completely wrong. Am not abusing your performance on the WIKI projects but am challenging your decision of proposing my account block. I don’t understand which copyright law you are stand with because in the fact of law there is no actually or it believes copyright violation, any kind of infringement must be verifiable. May be your intending to make sure that Africa is losing the bid and fever London bid isn’t? if that is the case go ahead but Africa is there forever. Although Francis Kaswahili has a history of uploading copyright violations, I don't see any reason not to believe this isn't his own work. The design is not highly advanced and he is after all co-ordinating the bid this logo represents. Study shows Wiki Love Africa recruitment makes a difference

edit

Hello Francis Kaswahili

We are writing because you have participated in the Wiki Loves Africa (WLA) photo competition in the past. Results have been published and winning pictures may be seen here !

This year WLA partnered with the research organization CAT Lab (previously CivilServant) to help us evaluate the effectiveness of one of our recruitment efforts. You may or may not have received a message on your user talk page encouraging you to participate again in this year's competition.

We are excited to share with you their study found our recruitment message was a success and may have resulted in as many as 2,000 additional contributed photos. We hope you agree this is great news for Africa and its representation across Wikimedia. You can read more about the study and the results in this blog post.

If you have any questions about the study, we encourage you to ask CAT Lab's research manager Juliakamin(cs).
