Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Please give images good descriptions

I noticed you've uploaded File:Dalekohled západní kopule.jpg and I thought I should draw your attention to a common error.
Please give some thought to writing a good description of uploaded images. This ensures that they can be used. It also helps those that review and improve categories do a better job, which also ensures that images will get used in novel and interesting ways. Thanks, and happy editing!

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Změna pravidel proplácení Fotíme Česko

Dobrý den,
zapojil/a do projektu Fotíme Česko, a proto bychom Vás chtěli informovat o tom, že se dojde k úpravě pravidel na proplacení nákladů. Od 1. července 2023 bude platit, že vytvořený tiket je nutno vyplnit a odeslat k proplacení do 3 měsíců, od jeho vytvoření. Dále se mění to, že všechny tikety vytvořené v daném kalendářním roce budou uzavřeny k 31.12. téhož roku.
V případě, že se Vám nepodaří tuto lhůtu splnit, napište na mail Richard.sekerak@wikimedia.cz a pokusíme se najít jiné řešení.--Richard Sekerak (WMCZ) (talk) 17:45, 14 May 2023 (UTC)

Uzavření tiketů Fotíme Česko 2023

Dobrý den, v letošním roce jste se zapojili do projektu Fotíme Česko, v rámci kterého můžete zažádat o proplacení nákladů na cestu za účelem focení.

Chtěl bych vám připomenout, že se blíží konec roku a všechny otevřené tikety je nutné nejpozději k 31. 12. 2023 uzavřít. S pozdravem, Richard Sekerak (WMCZ) (talk) 12:17, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
