Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

deadline mancata per WSC2017

Salve, sto riclassificando con cura tutti i file e ho scoperto giorni fa che i suoi file seppur caricati dall'interfaccia italiana, non sono stati valutati nel concorso italiano.

Questo perché risultano caricati dopo la mezzanotte del 15. La data sui file se la si guarda è 23:55, 15 December 2017. ma questa è un'ora UTC, in italia la mezzanotte è passata. Il tool non ha quindi categorizzato in automatico questi file nella categoria italiana e non sono state valutati dai giudici nazionali. Infatti abbiamo quasi finito il lavoro in Italia, senza considerarle.

Di conseguenza, il suo lavoro ha perso l'opportunità di partecipare al premio italiano. In compenso provvedo in base alle direttive operative scritte qui (in inglese) a categorizzarle nella categoria internazionale che ospita file di paesi senza giuria o categoria nazionale o caricati dopo la deadline. La buona notizia è che avranno più chance di diventare finalisti per minore concorrenza, la cattiva è che quella categoria non ha un premio intermedio in palio.

Un'altra domanda: preferisce che siano considerate tutte foto singole al microscopio o collettivamente devo riaggrupparne alcune come set di immagini? Grazie dell'attenzione. Mando anche una mail.--Alexmar983 (talk) 08:43, 14 January 2018 (UTC)

Dear uploader of European Science Photo Competition 2015 and Wiki Science Competition 2017, we would like to remind you that Wiki Science Competition 2019 has started in the whole world. It is now completed in Russia (active in May), Ukraine and France (active during November), but it's still open in all the other countries.

If you want to take part where WSC2019 is still open, please consult this page. Only some national categories are associated to competitions with local prizes.

If you are an expert user, please consider that images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface.

Please keep in mind that there is a new category this year, i.e. "nature and wildlife".

If you already took part in a country that has completed its upload phase, please consider improving the description in English of your files (click on the edit button), since such description is what the international jury will use to evaluate them. World finalists will be finalized after March 2020.

It is now completed in Russia (active in May), but it's still open in almost all the other countries.
