Fictional maps edit

Hello,

You've uploaded a map File:Tamriel-map01.png, which is based on the official map of the game. This is considered as a derivative work, and so it's a copyright infrigement.

As this is a map of an imaginary world, it's not possible to recreate easily a precise map in such situations.. If facts aren't copyrightable and so recreate a map of Earth or of any other thing is possible, this is not the case for a fictional work. We can go in Elder Scroll world to check the measures, the grounds, the relief, etc.

As we can't invoke the "facts aren't copyrightable" defense, we're in a case where the map is an illustration roughly identical to the one provided in the video game. And hence in a derivative work case. --Dereckson (talk) 19:56, 30 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
