First steps tutorial Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content). You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. Getting help More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Vielen Dank auch von meiner Seite, nicht nur dass du am Wettbewerb teilgenommen hast, sondern auch vor allem dass du uns Bilder aus dem Lungau geliefert hast, wo wir (wie Du ja gesehen hast) noch große Lücken hatten. Es wäre schön, wenn Du auch nach dem Wettbewerb vielleicht noch Lust hättest, uns Bilder aus dem Lungau und vielleicht auch aus angrenzenden Gegenden zu liefern. Watermarks

Hallo Mex, danke für die vielen schönen Bilder aus einer Gegend, wo wir nicht gerade mit Fotografen gesegnet sind. Sie helfen die Lücken zu füllen. Darf ich dich bitten, in Zukunft auf deinen Schriftzug in den Bildern zu verzichten (watermark), die Bilder sind leichter weiterverwendbar, wenn sie ohne Rahmen und Wasserzeichen hochgeladen werden. Unter der gewählten Lizenz ist es ohnehin möglich, so ein Wasserzeichen wegzumachen, aber es macht unnötige Arbeit und bedingt eine Qualitätsminderung. lg --Herzi Pinki (talk) 14:03, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

danke für die anmerkung - das war noch das std-setting der entwicklung und wird in zukunft wieder weggelassen. wenn ich die zeit finde, lade ich sie nochmal ohne watermark hoch.

nun, ich bin in unregelmässigen abständen in der ecke unterwegs und versuche, die fehlenden objekte nach und nach abzuklappern und einzutragen ;)

wenn du sie nochmals ohne watermark hochladen könntest, wäre das gut. Du kannst einfach eine neue Version der Datei über die existierende drüberladen (die neue dann ohne watermark), das geht nicht über den Upload Wizard, sondern aus der Dateibeschreibungsseite heraus (unter der Versionsgeschichte). Bild vom Bild

Bild von wessen Bild?

Hallo Mex! Bist Du selbst der Fotograf des abgebildeten Fotos oder ist das von jemand anderem erstellt worden? Wenn Du der Fotograf nicht selbst bist, brauchst Du von dem Ersteller eine schriftliche Genehmigung, die Du auch einschicken mußt (Adresse hab ich grad nicht bei der Hand, falls Du sie brauchst, finde ich sie heraus), und Du mußt ihn in der Bildbeschreibung nennen. nun, dieses bild ist im museum wie abgebildet ausgestellt. ich könnte telefonisch die daten in erfahrung bringen, aber ansonsten wär es wohl besser, das pic zu entfernen?!

Wiki Loves Monuments 2015 in Österreich

... fürs Mitmachen!

Vielen Dank für deine Teilnahme bei Wiki Loves Monuments 2015 in Österreich. Die Jury hat entschieden und die diesjährigen Preisträger wurden veröffentlicht: http://wikilovesmonuments.at/.

In etwa einem halben Jahr findet mit Wiki Loves Earth (http://wikilovesearth.at/) der nächste große Fotowettbewerb in Österreich statt, bei dem es um Naturdenkmäler geht. Wir würden uns freuen, wenn du auch an diesem Wettbewerb wieder teilnimmst.
