Project scope / Categories
editHi ManicSylph, please respect that Commons has a project scope and that contributed images must be realistically useful for an educational purpose. For this reason please give useful categories and useful descriptions to your images. So that every other user can find your images through their categories and can understand what you want to teach with the images through their descriptions. To meet the project scope please keep everything as educational as possible. Particularly note that the far too general Category:Nature, Category:Flowers and Category:Tree are NOT appropriate categories for your images. Please strongly avoid them. Plants (also animals, fungi etc.) are (almost) always categorized by their scientific (latin) names. Hence File:Silk Cotton Tree ( Bombax ceiba) flowers.JPG requires Category:Bombax ceiba. This image also requires a description and category regarding its location. Greetings, -- Ies (talk) 13:06, 20 February 2015 (UTC)
