editThis media was probably deleted. |
A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Rebekka Timmer.jpg, was missing information about where it comes from or who created it, which is needed to verify its copyright status. The file probably has been deleted. If you've got all required information, request undeletion providing this information and the link to the concerned file (
[[:File:Rebekka Timmer.jpg]] ).
If you created the content yourself, enter If someone else created the content, or if it is based on someone else's work, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. You should also name the author, provide verifiable information to show that the content is in the public domain or has been published under a free license by its author, and add an appropriate template identifying the public domain or licensing status, if you have not already done so. Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Please add the required information for this and other files you have uploaded before adding more files. If you need assistance, please ask at the help desk. Thank you! |

- Dear Waqar,
- I uploaded the file using the guided process. Should that not have taken care of filling out all required information? I indicated during the process that this photo is my own work and that I release it under cc-zero license. I could add that I also have written consent to use this photo by Rebekka Timmer, who is the sole object in the photo and who is an acquaintance of mine. I do not know how any required information could be missing, nor do I know how to add it. When I click on the link provided in your message to edit the file description, it does state both "source={{own}}" and "{{self|cc-zero}}". Do I need to add that latter to "license=" as well? Instructions are unclear. Mx.Alba (talk) 06:42, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- Indeed, adding {{cc-zero}} behind "license=" seems to have done the trick. I'm surprised that this was not done automatically by the guided upload process when I selected the cc-zero license for this work. Mx.Alba (talk) 06:45, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- The photo was deleted despite me providing the license. It was my photo, I uploaded it, I indicated that it was own work and released it under cc-zero. So why was it deleted? Please restore it and restore it on the page that it was removed from. Mx.Alba (talk) 19:46, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
- for future reference: undeletion request. Laurier (talk) 07:49, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
