User:Obi2canibe
Dear Obi2canibe,
I have noticed that you have generated a series of nice election maps in Sri Lanka. Would it be possible for you to provide these maps also in svg format? This permits easy translation into other languages. Could you please add a source for your data?
Thank you and regards

Since you are so gung ho to depict "historical" claims
Show me one historical map that has Puttalam as tamil country.
This one certainly doesn't: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:MapofEelamTamilcountryengraving1692.jpg

Thanks, more importantly the articles need to be upgraded, every place in the North and the East starts with how it had been once a part of the southern Empire before being colonized by the Tamil kingdoms.Lot of unicited thrash also prevails, when i get to edit them with solid links, they are reverted back by those noobs calling it disruptive.Since there are many of them in business, i avoid getting into a confrontaion.
Any suggestions on what i can do pal?like a good source to look up to(regrding history and geographical features of each prominent place), some other active users etc.

File:Suresh Premachandran.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added may soon be deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please replace the copyvio tag with {{subst:OP}} and have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you disagree that the file is a copyright violation for any other reason, please replace the copyvio tag with a regular deletion request. Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
