flickr review requests
editThanks for your help cropping photos on wiki commons. I just wanted to let you know that once an image has been uploaded and flickr reviewed by the bot, you don't have to request another flickr review if all you are doing is cropping the original image. Thanks. Warfieldian (talk) 21:18, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
- Comment: Once an image is uploaded by the flickr upload bot, it is considered passed for life. There is no need to order a flickrreview now. Admin MGA73 said the same thing here after I asked him about your actions. The flickr upload bot can only upload images which are freely licensed as 'cc by 2.0 generic' OR 'cc by sa 2.0 generic' at flickr--at upload. So, the flickr upload bot proves an image was licensed freely at upload. So, a flickrreview here is unnecessary--and doesn't mean a thing if the copyright owner later changes a license to All Rights Reserved. Why? Because the flickr upload bot already proves it was free at upload. Regards, --Leoboudv (talk) 05:14, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
- I'm happy to help. I was just puzzled at first that you asked two different flickr based bots to review images when 1 flickr based bot review was sufficient. Its good that this is now resolved. Best Wishes, --Leoboudv (talk) 22:05, 9 October 2011 (UTC)

Home and Away
editCould you please explain this category? I'm not sure how the image is related to "Home and Away", I don't think it was taken during the show. Admittedly, I am not familiar with the show, but even if the Barrenjoey Head Lighthouse is somehow paramount, you would like to add the category to Category:Barrenjoey Head Lighthouse, not to any specific image. --Muhandes (talk) 21:14, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
