Request for File:Ph fil bulacan.png edit
Hello @Squeakydolphin12: ! If you have sufficient time or if situation allows, may I request you to create a map of en:Bulacan province, Philippines, in a similar map graphics as File:Ph fil northern samar.png and File:Ph fil tarlac.png? Thanks! JWilz12345 (talk) 13:53, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
Colour scheme and legislative district map edit
- @Squeakydolphin12: Good day! I was wondering if you can match the colour for File:2019 Cavite gubernatorial elections.svg based on the colour of the candidate's party?
- About the legislative map that you uploaded about a week ago (if I'm not mistaken), did you base your work in Felipe Aira's File:PhlMapCit.svg or did you created it yourself? Thanks! --hueman1 (talk) 09:37, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
Hello hueman1! I loosely based the shapefiles I devised from Felipe's work. It is because I think it is the closest representation of the actual administrative boundaries that I can find. However, I sense that some of the municipal boundaries there (in Felipe's map) are inaccurate to some extent. This is particularly true in Isabela, Aklan, Negros Occidental, and Maguindanao. So, I looked for alternative files from NEDA, PSA, NAMRIA, PhilGIS, OSM, and LGUs. I did not change so much the lines in Felipe's map that are somehow close to those that I can find in other sources. Nevertheless, I modified the boundaries of towns in the aforementioned provinces and some parts of Metro Manila, Laguna, Bulacan, Misamis Occidental, and Bukidnon, among others. I think that the most accurate boundaries are those that are coming from the municipal assessor's office or municipal planning and development office so I am requesting for shapefiles from those offices as of the moment. I know that some LGUs have boundary disputes so I also look for the current status of such cases.
By the way, I am already done coloring the results of the gubernatorial election in municipalities of Cavite with finalized CoCs from COMELEC. In my current province, all the municipalities have posted their CoCs already. So, I have already finished coloring the map of the gubernatorial race here.
I think I have answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you think otherwise. Thanks! 12:23, 15 May 2019 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Squeakydolphin12 (talk • contribs) 12:23, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Squeakydolphin12: I noticed that inaccuracy when I was publishing my unfinished maps, and when I tried to re-trace Isabela's municipal boundaries, I found out that your map has a different scale to where I base my maps, File:PhlMapCit.svg. May I request if you could re-scale your map to Felipe Aira's map so I could clean it up? Thanks! --hueman1 (talk) 21:53, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
- Hello hueman1! Unfortunately, I don't think I will not be able to comply to your request. It is because I know that Felipe's map of Isabela is vastly different from the maps used by NEDA and Isabela Provincial Government . For example, I understand that Ilagan and San Mariano have no coastal barangays and Cordon is not an administrative exclave of Isabela. If you want to see such map, look at File:Ph fil isabela.png and File:Political map of Isabela, Philippines.png. The same is true in Aklan, Negros Occidental, and Maguindanao. I hope that I have enlightened you regarding that matter. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Squeakydolphin12 (talk • contribs) 22:53, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Squeakydolphin12: I understand, I guess I'll just trace these PNG maps instead. Thanks! --hueman1 (talk) 10:31, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
Blank city/municipal boundary map edit
Good day @Squeakydolphin12: ! It's me again. I am currently reworking File:PhlMapCit.svg due to some errors. It would be helpful if you could upload a blank version of your congress map with city/municipal boundaries? Thanks! --hueman1 (talk) 04:59, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
Misspelled barangay names on the political map of Mandaue City edit
Hi @Squeakydolphin12: !

I would like to request the misspelled names of the following barangays to be corrected:
From "Canancalan" to "Cabancalan"
From "Casutingan" to "Casuntingan"
From "Pasabungan" to "Pagsabungan"
The official names of the barangays appear on the website of the Mandaue City government.

Request to update maps of the Philippine provinces edit
Hello @Squeakydolphin12: ! I am AviNakamoto95 and I have been an avid follower of your work for quite a while, especially your contributions in the maps of the Philippine provinces. I've noticed that the maps of the administrative bodies of each province vary significantly in their graphics output. With this in mind, if you have sufficient time to do so, may I request for you to update the maps of the Philippine provinces in similar graphics quality to File:Ph fil northern samar.png and File:Ph fil tarlac.png? Your response will be much appreciated, thank you so much! AviNakamoto95 (talk) 04:17, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
- @AviNakamoto95 hello. I just passed by this talk page of the user while I'm casually browsing w:en:Isabela (province) and its provincial map (via "what links here"). Unfortunately, the user's last contributions were in February 2020, and di na nagpaparamdam sa Wiki si Squeakydolphin12. 🥲 JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 02:16, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
