File:Roman Meyer Paulino beim Dreh von Skorya.jpg edit

File:Roman Meyer Paulino beim Dreh von Skorya.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

→"It would be good if you participated in this discussion." Entertaining idea if you have been blocked before and thus no longer has the opportunity to participate in a deletion discussion. --TVN Group (talk) 10:55, 17 April 2019 (UTC)^TFReply

→ The German Wikipedia has different rules. These were discussed with an official office in Hanover. The pictures you complain about were released by our employee for the creation of a german-language article. If you translate here the user page, you will also see that we are working under official signatures, so that you know which employee is writing for more transparency. Of course, the pictures were not shot by him, but approved by him. The right to the picture on the productions lies with our company. But the personality right in Germany allows no pictures with just one individual without the permission of the photographed person. So maybe just the uploaded text was wrong.--TVN Group (talk) 10:53, 17 April 2019 (UTC)^TFReply
That may be, but on Commons, the only images that can be uploaded without using OTRS are
1) Images where the uploader is the actual photographer.
2) Images taken from another site on the Web that are freely licensed there and where it certain beyond a significant doubt that the person granting the free license is the actual photographer or otherwise has the right to do so.
3) Images where the copyright has obviously expired because they are old or for other legal reasons.
4) Images otherwise free of copyright such as those created by US Federal employees.
Since, as you say, the copyright for these images is held by a company, an authorized representative of the company must send a free license using OTRS. .     Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 18:22, 19 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
