File:Davidchankbonem.png edit

File:Davidchankbonem.png has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added may soon be deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please replace the copyvio tag with {{subst:OP}} and have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you disagree that the file is a copyright violation for any other reason, please replace the copyvio tag with a regular deletion request.

Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

As it turns out, it's only a copyright violation if you fail to name the author and license. I've corrected the file description. Please provide better information for any future uploads. LX (talk, contribs) 15:21, 19 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Sorry about that and thank you. But why the image was deleted? :( — Preceding unsigned comment added by ThuNdeRvE (talk • contribs) 10:59, 27 August 2012‎ (UTC)Reply
It wasn't actually deleted. The file is still there, as you can see if you click the link in the heading above. I initially marked it for deletion and left the standard message template above, but when I realized that it's actually available under a free license, I corrected the file description instead and left the second message above. You mean this edit? That was made by a different user on a different project. You'll have to ask them about it. LX (talk, contribs) 20:36, 12 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
