Thanks for uploading File:Tei Nomura, in 1893 ( Rear Admiral of The Imperial Japanese Navy).JPG. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Tei Nomura, in 1893 ( Rear Admiral of The Imperial Japanese Navy).JPG]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

Hi 故城一片之月, scanning an existing photo, which was made by somebody else, does not make you the author and does not give you the right to self-license it. Who is the original photographer of this photo? How long is he/she dead? If you don't know, the image may qualify for {{PD-Japan-oldphoto}} as it is rather old. But then you have to remove your CC/GFDL license tags. --Túrelio (talk) 14:11, 22 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
About File:Tei Nomura, in 1893 ( Rear Admiral of The Imperial Japanese Navy).JPG
Thank you, this information of this Tag. My greatgrandfather took this photograph, and he passed away in 1950.In the law in Japan, the copyrights are valid for 50 years from the death of the owner. Therefore, the copyright of the original plate expires. I copied this picture, with the digital camera, from the album of the greatgrandfather. And this photograph album is the possession of me at present. However, must this image be deleted? Could you tell me your opinion? --故城一片之月 (talk) 15:45, 5 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
