Thanks for uploading File:Raaj Kumar DAAPP 1280x1640.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.) If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there. Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you. |

- Its not that I wanted to specifically upload this unique image, but the restriction of changing the original file which I did link in the "Source" if you could see it. And for simplicity here is the link of the image which I modified:
- It should be noted that I only took the image from the source I just linked, and then stretched it to fit the realistic dimensions as the original work looked shorter and squeezed that it distorted the portrait of the actor himself. I encountered this inconvenience when I searched about the actor on Google and saw the first image from Wikipedia which looked distorted, and hence I decided to modify and change it fit accurate pixels by ratios. So I request you not to delete my work as the original work can't be change by anybody except of the user who uploaded the original image.
- TL;DR - I have only used the image existing on that page and modified it to the dimensions: 1280x1640 from something like 1280x1300 since the original image looked distorted and corrupted in ratios.
- Also about the part that you mentioned,
- >If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag.
- I should clarify that I had already linked and aforementioned that my work is "derivative of another work", so I wonder in what other way should I prove that I merely modified the work of the original user to fit portrait dimensions accurately. You can find this in "Summary" tab -> Source -. Thank you for pointing out any mistake that might have happened on my hand as I am a new user still. AlbertoWells (talk) 16:22, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

- Perhaps File:गणेश पुराण.pdf may be deleted.
- But Id like to inform that the file - File:Oldenberg Rigveda V 1 1888.pdf, is older than the specified copyright duration of 100 years. Therefore we must keep it as it is. AlbertoWells (talk) 13:18, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
