INeverCry 02:36, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, but ... what should INeverCry do, when the photo was previously deleted as copyright violation and now you upload almost the same photo with "All rights reserved" in EXIF data? I see one solution. You must send OTRS-permission with proof, that you are the photographer. Please show the filename file:Christen Gerhart January 2015.JPG in permission. Then the file is restored and I am happy to unblock you. Taivo (talk) 19:44, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Taivo and @Hedwig -- this problem only exists because of my (Mwr0) bungled (1st ever upload) attempt to upload a cropped version of the image, my trying to spare Christen the effort of uploading the file (she's not all that computer-savvy). Christen's (1st ever upload) upload of file:Christen Gerhart January 2015.JPG was an attempt to fix that by having her, the subject-and-author of the image, upload her self-portrait. She DID email permission-commons about the file, I think on March 30th. Also, she was unaware of the EXIF data, which was automatically generated by her camera. I think at this point, the fix is to unblock her account so that she can Update her (only) upload with a version of the image which has the EXIF data edited (to mark her as the author and remove the EXIF copyright statement). Yesterday, I finally had an exchange of emails with permission-commons, which might resolve this issue in this way. [I am still a little unclear about the details of me downloading her image, and uploading a cropped version, which we might get around by having Christen upload the cropped version of the image.] — Mwr0 (talk) 20:18, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
- Now the OTRS-permission has arrived and I unblock you. I apologize for such confusion. Happy editing! Taivo (talk) 07:53, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
