Picture of the Year voting round 1 open

Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2012 Picture of the Year competition is now open. We're interested in your opinion as to which images qualify to be the Picture of the Year for 2012. Voting is open to established Wikimedia users who meet the following criteria:

1. Users must have an account, at any Wikimedia project, which was registered before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC].
2. This user account must have more than 75 edits on any single Wikimedia project before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC]. Please check your account eligibility at the POTY 2012 Contest Eligibility tool.
3. Users must vote with an account meeting the above requirements either on Commons or another SUL-related Wikimedia project (for other Wikimedia projects, the account must be attached to the user's Commons account through SUL).

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. From professional animal and plant shots to breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historically relevant images, images portraying the world's best architecture, maps, emblems, diagrams created with the most modern technology, and impressive human portraits, Commons features pictures of all flavors.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topic categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you can vote for as many images as you like. The first round category winners and the top ten overall will then make it to the final. In the final round, when a limited number of images are left, you must decide on the one image that you want to become the Picture of the Year.

Licence

Zdravím, díky za vyjednání různých fotek. Jen poznámka k licencím, ve vzoru povolení na cs:WP:OTRS uváděna licence Creative Commons Uveďte autora-Zachovejte licenci 3.0 (CC-BY-SA 3.0). Pokud tedy držitele práv odkazujeme na tento vzor, není vhodné dávat k souborům šablonu {{Attribution}} (upřímně, nechápu moc, k čemu se používá), ale právě {{Cc-by-sa-3.0}}, protože držitel práv pak v mailu souhlasí právě s touto licencí a u souboru se to musí měnit. --Harold (talk) 10:13, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Já to takhle dělám proto, aby si to držitel práv nerozmyslel. Povětšinou to probíhá tak, že obdržím fotografii v příloze mailu, nahraji ji na Commons a teprve poté se držitel práva vyptává, kterak je to s licencováním. Téměř každý má potřebu o tom rozhodnout, popřemýšlet a právě šablona {{Attribution}} je taková neutrální. Je tam výslovně napsáno Držitel autorských práv k tomuto souboru dovoluje, zatímco šablona {{Cc-by-sa-3.0}} začíná slovy Tento soubor podléhá licenci. To, že nahraji soubor na Commons ještě nic neznamená, dokud držitel práv neodešle prohlášení do OTRS a možná se budete divit, ale mnohé zajímá především autorství. Wikipedii fotografii darují, ale trvají na autorství (oni jsou ti důležití a oni o tom rozhodují, ne já). Wikipedii zná každý, ale Commons vůbec nikdo a v tom je problém. Než-li odešlou prohlášení, kolikrát jim odpovídám i na pět mailů. --Daniel Holý 07:11, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

Jo, já chápu, že to není jednoduchý, ale myslím, že je lepší prostě hned na rovinu říct, že je potřeba ty fotky uvolnit pod licencí (ideálně) CC-BY-SA a poslat jim odkaz http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/deed.cs (klidně i se zdůrazněním, že tam bude uveden jako autor), kde je to stručně a jasně vysvětleno. Ať držitel práv si potom rozhodne, jestli je to pro něj vyhovující, to je jeho právo. Ale každý má svůj způsob vyjednávání, pár fotek jsem taky získal. Jen jsem chtěl napsat, že to měnění šablony je další práce navíc. --Harold (talk) 09:29, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.

Dear Daniel Holý CZ,

The 2013 Picture of the Year competition has ended and we are pleased to announce the results: We shattered participation records this year — more people voted in Picture of the Year 2013 than ever before. In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).

• In the first round, 2852 people voted for all 962 files
• In the second round, 2919 people voted for the 50 finalists (the top 30 overall and top 2 in each category)

We congratulate the winners of the contest and thank them for creating these beautiful images and sharing them as freely licensed content:

1. 157 people voted for the winner, an image of a lightbulb with the tungsten filament smoking and burning.
2. In second place, 155 people voted for an image of "Sviati Hory" (Holy Mountains) National Park in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
3. In third place, 131 people voted for an image of a swallow flying and drinking.

Než mě zas začnete osočovat, nastudujte si cs:Wikipedie:Wikietiketa. Na cs wikipedii jste měl potíže se slušným chováním, psal lidem, že s pitomcem, co nechápe co je to hrázděný barák se nebavíte, a byl jste i blokován. Do knihovny chodím, na wikipedii jsem napsal víc než Vy, a jestli jsem hlukák, je to možné. Ale nikomu to nepíšu, řídím se tím, že diskutuji jen o článku. Mějte se hezky, važte si lidí s jiným nazorem, než mate Vy.--Mirek256 07:57, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

Normální jedinec nediskutuje o tom, co nehodlá sám udělat. Nakreslíte takový obrázek? Mám se teď vrhnout na článek o hlavním nádraží v Brně stylem, že budu na diskusi rozebírat to, kdo a kdy takový obrázek nakreslí? Ne, dělat to nebudu. Proč? Nemá smysl si něco vynucovat. Když to umíte udělat lépe, nevidím v tom problém, ale musí to být lepší a musíte to udělat vy. Jenže na cs.wiki to takhle vůbec nefunguje, valná většina lidí si chce jenom prosadit svoji verzi. Když článek podpoří několik dopravních subjektů, není poté možné, aby si tam někdo svévolně nastavoval svoji laťku. Proč? Já vím proč to dělám. Napsal jsem článek o hlavním nádraží v Hradci Králové, teď o hlavním nádraží v Pardubicích. Světe div se, ale každý z nich je o něčem jiném. Důvod, ty informace čerpám z různých knih a každá ta kniha je úplně jiná. Knihy nejsou nikdy stejné jako články na internetu, právě proto, že psavci mají znalosti (mají to načtené). Lidé působící na internetu ty znalosti nemají, což poznáte podle povrchního přístupu, neschopnosti spolupracovat alespoň s "odbornou veřejností". Sorry, ale já jsem člověk, kterého inspirují knihy, proto jsou ty články (pro někoho) složité. Ovšem článek, který vám neodpovídá na vaše otázky je nefunkční, proto je česká Wikipedie nefunkční. Článek o pardubickém hlavním nádraží vám na ty otázky odpovídá a schválně, je něco takového někde na internetu? Ne. Protože já to mám načtené. Můj styl je prostě o tom, že nediskutuji o blbostech, nebo o věcech, kterým nerozumím, nehodlám se ztrapňovat. Zkuste někdy přispívat do nějakého projektu s redakcí a poté budete mluvit úplně stejně jako já. Wikipedie je neřízený chaos, klid je jenom tady. A právě tady je pak vidět kdo má pravdu, pravdu má ten, kdo spolupracuje. Ten, kdo prezentuje někoho jiného. Proč? Jsme nuceni spolu diskutovat a dělat tak "recenzi". Zkuste se obrátit na nějaký archiv a schválně jak vám půjde komunikace. Pokud ty znalosti máte, nebude to žádný problém. --Daniel Holý (talk) 09:24, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

Ty rošťáku, ale ten Vandalenkill, to je úžasný obrázek. "Opičák" ukazuje "Vandale" a následně je odstřelen Vandalenkillem. To by se mělo používat na cs.wiki místo správcovského revertu. Člověk, který ten obrázek vymyslel si zaslouží nějakou cenu. Mnohdy je lepší to dělat psychologicky. Ale tak daloko ještě cs.wiki asi není. . --Daniel Holý (talk) 13:37, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

Belgium: The Flemish speaking region occasionally produces its own dialect dubbing versions, otherwise solely subtitles. The French speaking region of Wallonia and the German speaking region of East Belgium use exclusively a full-cast dubbing, both for films and for TV series.
