Getting help

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.

Hi! I noticed you have uploaded one file under the same name some times. Please notice it is not necessary to upload the same file multiple times. It won't change the description! If you want to change the Image's description, please click at the file and then at the [Edit] button above. Commons:Licensing may help you to find a valid license. Copyright issues

Hi Juanfa61, i see some problems with your images. Image:ArsenioRodriguez.jpg e.g. seem to be a violation of copyrights, it appears on several other websites like http://www.salsatools.com/index1.php?rub=3origine (section: 1930). Same case with Image:Machito1.jpg, it seems to be photographed from an other image. Copying images from other websites or making a new photo of an old photo (from paper, newspaper, book, cd cover, whatever) does not give you the copyright to this image. The images are still the property of the persons who originaly made them, so please clarify, who the original photographer of your images is. Just answer here, thank you, --Martin H. Gracias por contribuir con Image:Sonia Silvestre2.jpg. Aunque todas las contribuciones son útiles, ¿crees que podrías suministrar alguna versión de mayor calidad con el mismo contenido, o similar? En muchos casos, la resolución máxima y de mayor tamaño es la versión mas útil que se podría tener. (MediaWiki tiene una función de reescalado automático, así que no hay necesidad de tener versiones múltiples de la misma imagen, los usuarios pueden seleccionar cualquier tamaño y el software generará y mantendrá la resolución necesaria sobre la marcha.)

Si puedes subir la misma imagen de Image:Sonia Silvestre2.jpg con una resolución mayor (o si es vídeo, con un bitrate mayor, etc.), por favor, simplemente súbela con el mismo nombre, los usuarios accederán a la nueva versión de calidad sin ningún esfuerzo extra por tu parte. Por el contrario, si el contenido tan solo es similar, es mejor seleccionar un nuevo nombre para la imagen, ya que puede que haya usos de la imagen en los que algún aspecto de la imagen original sea clave. En este caso, puedes añadir un enlace a la nueva imagen desde la antigua y viceversa, eso sería muy útil.

Hola Juanfa61. Te escribo acerca del Commons:Alcance del proyecto. Por favor haz clic y lea lo que es el alcance del proyecto. Esta bien que subas fotos pero si no se van a usar en algun wiki no deben ser subidas. Reducir las imágenes

Hola Juan! Respondiendo a tu pregunta, para usar una imagen en un artigo, puedes escribir [[Imagen:Ejemplo.jpg|thumb|La descripción de la imagen]]. La palabra thumb hace que la imagen sea reducida a una menor resolución de acuerdo con las definiciones de cada usuario (lo predeterminado es 180px) y lo que escribieres en la descripción de la imagen aparece abajo como legenda de la imagen. Pero, tu puedes definir una resolución fija adicionando [[Imagen:Ejemplo.jpg|thumb|200px|La descripción de la imagen]]. Atención: si quieres poner una legenda, debes adicionar la palabra thumb para aparecer la legenda. Muchas gracias por tu saludo. Tiene buenas ediciones!
