Es grato dirigirme a usted en este momento especial de comienzo de un nuevo año para desearle el mas sincero deseo de bienaventuranza, salud, prosperidad y amor para usted y su familia en este nuevo año. Espero que usted pueda sentirse acompañado conmigo en este camino, que aunque Commons sea solamente un espacio para la relajación y esparcimiento, en definitiva he encontrado también en usted un buen amigo con el cual tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar un corto tiempo.

El 2015 será un año cargado de nuevos retos, entre ellos proyectos no solamente en este espacio sino de su vida personal, sin embargo, yo estoy seguro que usted podrá pasar sin ninguna dificultad todos estos acontecimientos de forma satisfactoria.

Undo administrative descissions

The next time you undo an administrative descissions, you will be in danger getting blocked. You can requrest a second opinion (I never ever would say I'm free of mistakes), you can talk to me, you can ask an Admin of your trust. But you don't have to unso an administrative descission. It is the job of an Admin to do exactly this! Yesterday someone renamed the whole images in this area within a logical system. This is OK and within the rules of renaming of this project. A re-renaming makes no sense. The System would be destroyed. It is part in a free system, that photographers must sometimes accept, that their images get new names. Code issues in User:Kadellar/common.js

Hi Kadellar, I am a bored bot (this is kind of a computer program) that is watching the recent changes and tapping buttons like I did now.

Curious about the reason? Possibly not but I will tell you anyway:

1. You edited User:Kadellar/common.js. Glad to see you coding in javascript! Have you ever considered becoming a MediaWiki hacker?
2. Though, that change appears to introduce 1 new jshint issue — the page's status is now having warnings. Note that invalid or ambiguous code often has unwanted side effects like breaking other tools for you. If you cannot find out how to fix it, I suggest blanking the page for now.
3. To help you understanding where the issues are, I have aggregated a report here and now. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask users experienced in javascript writing for help. But do not ask the bot's operators (chronically overwrought) unless you suspect an error of mine. Sagrada Família

Hi Carlos, Thanks for your comments. You are right, good photos of Sagrada Família are not common and mine are not really good. That is because light in the interior of the church is faint and the contrast between the gorgeous whites and the dark parts are quite a challenge! In my case I am fortunate for having a very good camera that can use high ISO settings effectively, keeping the noise discrete. I was there for more than one hour wishing that the church were not so crowded and that I could use a tripode! Anyway it was a privilege for me to be able to enjoy and keep images of such a marvelous place! Best wishes, Alvesgaspar (talk) 18:15, 11 March 2015 (UTC)

Madrid Open

Hi Carlos,

Just wondered what your arrangement was with Wikimedia Spain regarding your photography of the Madrid Open. Did you have any special access or were you a regular visitor? Did you go to the 'centre court' or just the outside courts? I applied for a grant with Wikimedia UK to photograph Wimbledon this year. I was already planning to do it this year but your tennis photography fueled me a little more. :-) I visited Wimbledon in 2013 (not with a grant, just paid for a ticket the usual way!) and got some decent photos but hopefully I can improve on them this year. Auch in diesem Jahr beteiligt sich Deutschland wieder am internationalen Fotowettbewerb rund um Bau- und Kulturdenkmale. Bisher wurden bereits mehr als 18.000 Bilder hochgeladen – und wir würden uns sehr über weitere Bilder von Dir freuen. Noch bis zum 30. September 2016 kannst Du Deine Bilder hochladen. Alles Wissenswerte erfährst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Außerdem möchten wir Dich einladen, ab 12. September 2016 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese sichtet und bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im Oktober tagt, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2016 in Deutschland.

Generosity Crowdfunding Campaign for User:The Photographer

Please excuse me spamming you, which concerns Generosity Crowdfunding Campaign. My contributions cover the architecture and culture of Brazil and Venezuela. I has basic photographic equipment: an old D300 camera and 35mm lens, and it is very expensive for me to acquire this equipment. I has recently taken several images using the technique where multiple frames are stitched together to create a high-resolution panorama. However, many times frustrated with the stitching errors that result from trying to take such photos without a proper panoramic head for his tripod. This special equipment permits the camera to be rotated around the entrance pupil of the lens, and eliminates such errors. Having a panoramic head would greatly increase the potential for The Photographer to create sharp high-resolution images for Commons. In addition, the purchase of a camera with a fisheye lens would enable 180 × 360° panoramas to be taken, which are a great way to explore a scene as though one is really there.
