- Hello. I saw your edits [1]. In that case, could you send formal permissions for Commons:OTRS? Thank you. --KurodaSho (talk) 15:06, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
- No problem. Could you please instruct me how to do it? Thanks, Mnaftalis (talk) 17:06, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
- Please look at Commons:OTRS for procedures. --KurodaSho (talk) 14:48, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
- I probably wasn't fast enough! The pictures were removed from Commons, and the links to them from the pages in Wikipedia by User:Hedwig in Washington. What can I do to correct the situation? I would appreciate your help. as you seem to know what to do, and I don't. Thanks, Mnaftalis (talk) 05:02, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
- Once OTRS volunteers accept your permissions, the files will be restored in Commons. Regards, KurodaSho (talk) 12:14, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

File:Gerard Etienne - Natania - Editions du Marais.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.) Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

- Concerning this one: Natania Etienne, the manager of "Editions du Marais", has given to me a copy of this book, which was written by her late husband, Gerard Etienne. I found it appropriate to insert a photo of the book cover in the Wiki page dedicated to Gerard. BTW, Natania is my cousin. Is it OK to leave the photo? Thanks, Mnaftalis (talk) 17:06, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
- I think it can be uploaded as fair-use on local wikipedia such as en.wikipedia, but Commons does not accept fair-use images. Please look at Commons:Fair use. Although if formal permissions will be provided from the copyright holder, that is your cousin, for Commons:OTRS, this book cover can be uploaded for Commons.
