Thank you for reporting this. We think this may have been a connection reset (the bot was not done submitting text, but the IP connection was closed). This may point out a fundamental flaw in the bot framework (although not occurring that often) that the coders are currently adressing. Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Ah, I think I understand your problem now. It's not on the page any more. Why didn't you say so, in the notice you put on my talk page? You could even have written it in Russian ... ya ponimayu, dazhe esli ne mogu pechatat' :-)

Anyway, the image was there when I got it from there. For example, take a look at this search from Bing images: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=%D0%A1%D1%82%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%BE%D0%B9%D1%82%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B0&go=&form=QB&qs=n - you'll see it's the second image that shows up, so it was still there when Bing ran its crawler. We can't require that the source we got our images from keep them up forever, the fact they took it down isn't a reason for deletion. --GRuban (talk) 15:54, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

В пункте 6 статьи 1259 ГК РФ (процитированной в шаблоне) приведён исчерпывающий перечень: «Не являются объектами авторских прав: … 2) государственные символы и знаки (флаги, гербы, ордена, денежные знаки и тому подобное), а также символы и знаки муниципальных образований». Вы явно ошибочно пометили файл как "не имеющий разрешения". Этот файл был опубликован в русской Википедии его создателем под лицензией self|GFDL|cc-by-2.5, таким образом, согласно правилам Википедии, его автор автоматически дал разрешение на публикацию файла. Файл был перенесен сюда с сохранением лицензии и автора. На других сайтах и под другими условиями файл ранее не публиковался. TinEye его не находит. Я не вижу, к чему здесь можно придраться. В лицензии файла проставлено SELF-cc-by ("Я, автор этого произведения..."), так что участница и есть Татьяна Нарышкина. Пожалуйста, уберите шаблон со страницы - очевидно же, что абсурдная претензия. У меня есть основания сомневаться, что Дарьяна - это Татьяна Нарышкина: и исходя из ника, и исходя из удалённого вклада - очень похоже, что лицензия была взята "с потолка" после того, как участница получила предупреждение о проблемах с первым изображением, загруженным ею вообще без лицензии. Обращаюсь к вам с вопросом, так как вы сделали разрушительные и неудобные переименования.
Во-первых, я хочу узнать, как следует называть остальные файлы, которые я буду загружать. Сейчас есть файл File:Nikitsky_Monastery,_the_new_bell_tower.jpg — однако есть и другие фотоснимки, которые я буду загружать под этим именем. Раньше я принял для себя схему, по которой у фотографий был номер, чтобы разные фотографии одного сюжета отличались. Теперь вы отвергаете эту схему, а значит, я должен просить у вас другую. Как следует поступать?
Во-вторых, раньше я принял для себя схему, по которой содержательный рассказ о фотографии должен быть в description. Мне следует отбросить это и называть фотографии содержательными рассказами? Однако как это сочетается с тем, что длинные имена файлов катастрофически неудобны?
В-третьих, по моей прежней схеме, все монастырские фотографии должны начинаться с префикса m-, что серьёзно упрощает их группировку и классификацию. Если это неправильный приём, как следует поступить, чтобы серьёзно упростить группировку и классификацию фотографий?
В-четвёртых, если в имени файла есть пробел, это становится черезвычайно неудобным. Ни одна операционная система не обрабатывает такие имена. Приходится или подменять пробел подчёркиванием, или менять его на уродливые %20, или брать имя файла в кавычки. Всё это серьёзно мешает с точки зрения эргономики.
В-пятых, я полагался на схемы, принятые у Commons:RIA Novosti и Commons:Bundesarchiv. Вы не переименовали файлы там, однако убрали номера, которые присвоены моим файлам. Почему вы отвергаете их практику и не позволяете мне использовать такие же приёмы?
В-шестых, вы указали критерий — misleading название файла. В чём именно состоит misleading?

Я бы не стал переименовывать, если бы постороннему человеку было бы хотя бы приблизительно понятно, о чём идёт речь (например, файлы с названиями вроде "MonasteryNikitsky-0120.jpg" или что-то подобное) - по вашим же названиям переименованных мною файлов, не читая описание, я бы скорее сделал вывод, что автор указал в названии своё имя и инициал (некоторые указывают своё авторство в названии).
Ваша схема. При переименовании я не смотрел другие ваши загрузки и, соответственно, не увидел, что у вас есть описанная вами схема. Для использования файлов в проектах Фонда она, по-моему, неудобна и в некоторых случаях воспринимается как ошибка (например, префикс p- в названиях фотографий персоналий выглядит как ошибочный инициал).
Мой вариант названия. При именовании файлов я стараюсь выбрать название, содержащее упоминание основного объекта и по возможности уточнение, дающее возможность (на данный момент) не вводить искусственную нумерацию.
Дальнейшие действия. Как вариант: вы можете выставить переименованные мной файлы на новое переименование по критерию 1 (Uploader requested), вернув им прежние названия - я или другой filemover переименует их.

Нет, переименовывать обратно нет особого смысла: прежние имена ведь сохранились как редиректы, всем хорошо. А вот "искусственная нумерация" (вау? она не искусственная, это авторские номера!) нужна, потому что это самый простой способ отличать файлы с одинаковым сюжетом. Постороннему человеку (как я могу судить по своему опыту) вообще нет дела до названий файлов, он ориентируется на их описания. Собирался написать с тех пор как заметил переименования файлов, но всё не мог собраться с духом. Не думаю, что тут может стать настолько грязно как во всем известном проекте, но всё же за происходящим на Commons:Administrators/Requests советую следить. Бывают хорошие, годные кандидаты, которых валят за то, что недостаточно быстро бегают по кнопочкам. Случается и наоборот, пожалуй даже ещё чаще. Интриги тут все на удивление просты, достаточно прочесть секцию голосов и пару вопросов с ответами, чтобы определиться в отношении кандидата.

Да, и ещё. Как во всяком википроекте есть люди компетентные и люди заметные, так и тут, но разделение на тех и других тут особенно ярко. В отличие от википедий, на Складе лишь малое количество компетентных людей из администрации активно участвует в обсуждениях. Это необходимо учитывать, дабы ошибочно не принять позицию … за позицию местного истэблишмента в целом.

На Викискладе я в основном занимаюсь тем, что непосредственно связано с работой над статьями или удалением в рувики; переименование файлов - это способ немного отдохнуть от рувики. Зачем Вы пометили на удаление этот файл? Там никаких ссылок не было, ибо я проверял данные после загрузки. Файл был загружен самим автором, и его личность подтверждена участником Википравитель по электронной почте. А Вы вероятно перепутали этот файл с другим файлом, который был загружен ранее. Вы ничего не хотите мне сказать? Чтобы добиться загрузки этого файла, я потратил много времени и нервов. Подключил к процессу автора, который любезно согласился предоставить этот уникальный материал для энциклопедии, что уже само по себе бесценно, и также, не будучи опытным участником, потратил на оформление и загрузку файла изрядную долю своего времени. А Вы взяли и бесцеремонно пометили файл на быстрое удаление, чего делать даже с точки зрения правил не имели права, я уже не говорю про этику. А что я должен ответить? Вы могли заранее позаботиться об OTRS-разрешении или хотя бы как-то указать в описании файла, что User:Samoleg и есть Олег Куваев, и этому есть такие-то подтверждения - вы этого не сделали (ничего страшного - многие не разобрались бы, что и как надо сделать). В этой ситуации любой добросовестный участник вынес бы такой файл на удаление как copyvio. Вы объяснили ситуацию администратору, он восстановил файл и повесил шаблон об ожидании OTRS-разрешения. Вроде бы инцидент исчерпан. Однако вы сначала обвинили меня в вандализме в рувики, а затем здесь; а теперь на этой странице предполагаете у меня какие-то скрытые мотивы и обвиняете меня в непорядочности - мне надо на всё это отвечать? Я выставил на удаление файл, т.к. он явно представлял собой кадр из какой-то телепрограммы (оформление студии, логотип); администратор с этим согласился. Скрипт общий на Викискладе, не отключаемый для ПФ. У переименовывающего при нажатии ссылки "move & replace" появляется окошко, в котором по умолчанию стоит галочка в чекбоксе "Try to replace usage immediately using your user account"; но если включений файла очень много (не знаю, всего или в каком-либо одном разделе), то всё равно заменяет названия бот. - Да, Сеалле на здешней СО подробно разъяснил. Переименовывающий скрипт не работает при переименовании ботом, так что при желании заменять остаётся использовать делинкер (впрочем, по словам бюрократа, заменять необязательно - для этого здесь редиректы и оставляют).
