Вікі любить пам'ятки 2018 в Україні

Вітаємо!

1 вересня вже традиційно стартувала українська частина міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки»! До 30 вересня включно Ви можете подавати власні фото пам'яток історико-культурної спадщини України — і змагатися за призи. Цього року є трохи змін у правилах конкурсу:

• фотографії пам'яток, для яких на момент початку конкурсу (відповідно до відомої Організаційному комітету інформації) не було жодної ілюстрації на Вікісховищі або у Вікіпедії, отримують коефіцієнт рівний 7 (для кожної пам'ятки);
• фотографії автоматично вантажаться у категорію, яка бере учать у номінації за найбільшу кількість сфотографованих об'єктів, для того, щоб фото позмагалося у номінації за найкраще фото потрібно вибрати необхідні налаштування у завантажувачі.

Також у конкурсі є спецномінація банерів для статей у Вікімандрах, детальніше за посиланням.

Привіт!

Наш цьогорічний конкурс добігає свого кінця — залишилося ще 4 дні. Проміжні підсумки конкурсу опубліковано на сайті. У нас зараз понад 13500 світлин, і це значить, що Україна посідає четверте місце, поступаючись Росії (23 тисячі), Німеччині (21 тисяча) та Італії (19 тисяч). Загалом, понад 200 учасників цього року уже. Дякуємо, що вантажили фото у попередні роки, якщо б Вам захотілося ще взяти участь цього року, то може бути корисно переглянути цей пост із покроковою інструкцією як вантажити світлини: «Як подати свою роботу на конкурс». Зі списками пам'яток можна ознайомитися тут. Цього року у конкурсі також є ще одна спеціальні номінація — «Єврейська спадщина». Детальніше про неї можна прочитати за посиланням.

I agree Ruslan should be kept, but generally speaking you should know that reviewing your own uploads is quite heavily frowned upon. - Alexis Jazz ^{ping plz} 01:59, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

@Alexis Jazz: Is it written somewhere? I thought that as a license reviewer I am reducing workload for others, as they will not have to review each and every my upload. Doesn't it work this way? — NickK (talk) 11:00, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

I'm not sure, but it may not be written anywhere. I do recall Majora recently calling it a terrible sin, or something along those lines. Review the licenses for files from others and let them review yours.. - Alexis Jazz ^{ping plz} 11:10, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

My bad, it is written: Please note that as of 21 February 2012, image-reviewers may not review their own uploads unless the account is an approved bot. This ensures that at least two individuals, or one individual and a bot, have checked that the license choice is correct. Reviews by image-reviewers on their own uploads will be considered invalid.

@Alexis Jazz: To be very honest, I don't think this will work. Most of my self-reviews are Picasa or Panoramio (both dead, new review nearly impossible), some are YouTube screenshots (some videos are deleted but many are still alive, will take a lot of time but in most cases feasible), and almost none are Flickr where a bot can do it. I am very surprised nobody informed me so far, I have literally done this for years without anyone telling me I was wrong, thus I was completely sure I was doing the right thing! I will do some quick analysis and will probably write on the Village pump or somewhere to ask on what to do, perhaps this evening or early next week — NickK (talk) 11:46, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
