Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Βλέπω σε ενδιαφέρει η αρχιτεκτονική του Μεσοπολέμου στην Ελλάδα και έχεις φωτογραφήσει πολλά κτίρια αυτής της περιόδου, τόσο σε Αθήνα όσο και Θεσσαλονίκη (αλλά και σε άλλες πόλεις της Ελλάδας). Δυστυχώς όσον αφορά την Ελλάδα υπάρχει το εξής θέμα: τα κτίρια επιτρέπεται να φωτογραφηθούν χωρίς την άδεια του αρχιτέκτονα μόνο περιστασιακά ( ή από μέσα μαζικής ενημέρωσης). Το περιστασιακά δεν είναι σαφές τι εννοεί, αλλά πιθανότατα ερμηνεύεται ως το κτίριο να μην είναι το κύριο θέμα της φωτογραφίας. Έτσι όπως είναι γραμμένος ο νόμος δηλαδή δεν επιτρέπει τη δημοσίευση αυτών των φωτογραφιών με άδεια συμβατή με τη βικιπαίδεια (η άδεια αφήνει ελεύθερη την αναδημοσίευση χωρίς περιορισμό με βάση τον σκοπό ή το μέσο αναπαραγωγής). Τα πνευματικά δικαιώματα διαρκούν μέχρι 70 χρόνια μετά τον θάνατό του αρχιτέκτονα, άρα η φωτογράφηση είναι ελεύθερη για κτίρια των οποίων ο αρχιτέκτονας απεβίωσε πριν το 1951 (όσον αφορά το 2021). Και αν δεις οι περισσότεροι αρχιτέκτονες αυτής της περιόδου απεβίωσαν τη δεκαετία του 1960 ή αργότερα. Καλησπέρα και ευχαριστώ για την ενημέρωση. Σχετικά με τα κτίρια που δεν γνωρίζουμε ποιος είναι ο αρχιτέκτονας, αν το κτίριο είναι προ του 1951 μπορεί να φωτογραφηθεί χωρίς πρόβλημα πνευματικών δικαιωμάτων. Αν γνωρίζουμε ποιος είναι ο αρχιτέκτονας, αλλά δεν γνωρίζουμε το έτος θανάτου, φοβάμαι ότι τα πνευματικά ισχύουν για 130 χρόνια από την κατασκευή (αν και γι'αυτό δεν είμαι σίγουρος, μπορεί να είναι λιγότερο). Αυτά ισχύουν για την Ελλάδα. Παρόμοιους νόμους έχει η Ιταλία και η Γαλλία. Από την άλλη, χώρες όπως η Ολλανδία και η Γερμανία δεν έχουν τέτοιους περιορισμούς. Αναλυτικά το τι ισχύει για κάθε χώρα θα βρεις εδώ: Commons:Freedom of panorama.

Τώρα αυτές οι φωτογραφίες επισημαίνονται για διαγραφή με την επισήμανση ότι αφορούν ζήτημα ελευθερίας πανοράματος. Θα δεις στα αριστερά, εκεί που λέει tools, να γράφει ότι έχεις ανοίξει μια εικόνα Nominate for deletion. Το επιλέγεις και συμπληρώνεις τους λόγους διαγραφής (στα αγγλικά). Δεδομένου ότι θα είναι λίγο πολύ για τον ίδιο λόγο θα γράφει κάτι τέτοιο: «Unfortunately, [[COM:FOP Greece|no FOP in Greece]]. The building is a work of architect [το όνομα του αρχιτέκτονα], who died in [έτος θανάτου], less than 70 years ago.». Έχω την εντύπωση ότι αυτές οι διαγραφές επισημαίνονται ότι αφορούν την ελευθερία πανοράματος, έτσι άμα αλλάξει κάτι (όπως έγινε στο Βέλγιο πριν κάποια χρόνια, όπου από περιορισμό πέρασε σε ελεύθερη φωτογράφηση), αν επαναφερθούν. Αλλιώς, θα επαναφερθούν με την λήξη των πνευματικών δικαιωμάτων.

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Όταν ανεβάζεις φωτογραφίες θα δεις να σου ζητάει να τοποθετήσεις κατηγορίες (ένα πεδίο που αφήνεις κενό μέχρι τώρα, οδηγίες για το πώς να συμπληρώσεις σε νέες εικόνες έχει παραπάνω). Οι κατηγορίες είναι ο τρόπος που οργανώνονται οι φωτογραφίες. Δες για παράδειγμα την Category:Karytaina, όπου υπάρχουν φωτογραφίες με θέμα την Καρύταινα. Γενικά, αν κάποιος ψάχνει αν βρει φωτογραφίες για την Καρύταινα να χρησιμοποιήσει σε ένα λήμμα, θα ψάξει στη σχετική κατηγορία.

Στις εικόνες που έχεις ήδη ανεβάσει μπορείς να κάνεις copy-paste το όνομα της κατηγορίας εκεί που λέει edit. Ένας άλλος τρόπος είναι χρησιμοποιήσεις το εργαλείο HotCat (το ενεργοποιείς ως εξής: Preferences (Προτιμήσεις) > Gadgets > μετά τη μέση έχει τα Tools for categories, όπου έχει και το HotCat, το επιλέγεις και πατάς save (αποθήκευση) κάτω κάτω. Πλέον στις εικόνες θα δεις αν δεν έχουν κατηγορίες να εμφανίζουν ένα (+). Το πατάς και εμφανίζεται ένα πλαίσιο, όπου γράφεις πχ. το όνομα του οικισμού, ή του κτιρίου (πχ. Walls of Thessaloniki) ή το είδος του φυτού. Οι κατηγορίες είναι στα αγγλικά και όσο πιο εξειδικευμένες είναι, τόσο πιο εύκολα θα βρεθεί η εικόνα. --C messier (talk) 07:25, 29 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
