Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Un'informazione

@user:Blackcat, @user:Jaqen, @user:Ruthven Quando carico un file su Commons è necessario scrivere la descrizione in inglese o può essere riportata anche in italiano, francese, tedesco, cinese o la lingua del progetto in cui la voglio inserire? Altra cosa: su it.Wikipedia mi è stata cancellata un'immagine perchè non era chiara la licenza, ho scritto all'amministratore che l'ha cancellata ma non mi ha mai fornito una risposta, perchè vorrei ricaricarla qui fornendo una licenza più appropriata ma vorrei prima capire come fare...Jaqen e Ruthven, per voi che siete amministratori anche su Wikipedia, il file era Sirio 187.jpg ed era inserito nella voce sul telefono Sirio nella sezione Sirio 187.--Potenza2021 (talk) 17:04, 7 December 2021 (UTC)

Ciao, puoi scrivere la descrizione nella lingua che vuoi: lo Special:UploadWizard ti permette di scegliere la lingua. Per il resto, se non hai chiara la licenza di un file, non caricarlo. Anzi, è meglio se carichi solamente foto scattate da te. Ruthven (msg) 20:33, 7 December 2021 (UTC)

@Ruthven infatti la foto del telefono Sirio 187 è stata scattata da una conoscente dopo che le ho telefonato dicendo che volevo pubblicarla come opera nostra su Wikipedia e lei ha detto di sì immediatamente. È necessario un suo intervento?--Potenza2021 (talk) 21:21, 7 December 2021 (UTC)

Conoscente non sei tu. Quindi ripeto: "È meglio se carichi solamente foto scattate da te." Se la tua conoscente vuole caricare foto sue, si crea un account e se le carica. La persona su cui hai creato la categoria non è enciclopedia, anche su Wikipedia le voci su persone non enciclopediche vengono cancellate. --Jaqen (talk) 13:17, 11 September 2022 (UTC)

Famiglia Samaritani

Ti avviso che non puoi creare redirect fra i namespace. Ho quindi dovuto cancellare tutte le gallerie a @Fausta Samaritani e alle altre persone con questo cognome che avevi creato.
