Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Please note that I assume good faith on your behalf with this contribution, but that the Flickr user has uploaded a file which they were not allowed to legally. Thank you, ColonialGrid, for your message. You're quite right that this was unintentional. After I had uploaded the image, I saw some of the other files that the user had uploaded that clearly were not free. I was going to come back and do something to get rid of it, but that had already been done by Commons' very efficient processes! Relentlessly (talk) 15:36, 18 March 2015 (UTC)

License of SVG Cycling Jerseys

Dear Relentlessly,

You uploaded a series of cycling jersey SVG icons to Wikimedia Commons. Great work, thanks for that! See the list below for the items it concerns.

However, the shape is exactly the same as the file:Jersey yellow.svg or file:Jersey polkadot.svg that I created, and uploaded under CC-BY-SA. This means that if you create derivative works, you must

1. credit the original creator(s), and
2. share it under the same license

You did not credit me as the original author of the work you made a derivative of.

Could you make changes to the images you uploaded? You can do this very simply by adding the following line to the icons you originally created (and removing the current license template line)

{{Self |1= cc-by-sa-4.0|author=Relentlessly |attribution= Shape based upon [[:file:Jersey yellow.svg]] by [[User:IIVQ]]}}

and if there is a summary table, change the line that reads |source={{own}} with a line that reads something like

|source={{own}} Shape based upon [[:file:Jersey Yellow.svg]] by [[User:IIVQ]]

If you based this icon on another icon than File:Jersey yellow.svg, you can substitute that and credit the creator thereof as well as the authors of the work they based their work on.
