Royal Society uploader
Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content). You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump. |

Permissions template
editI have created {{Royal Society}}, which can be added to any uploaded image under this account. I suggest it is added to the permissions field, unless you want to add it under a licensing section. If you would like a better credit statement or would like to add the RS logo, please feel free to improve it. --Fæ (talk) 20:22, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
In the article w:en:Lisa Jardine you say the picture has been taken in 2014, but here you say it is of 2015-07-10. Could you plesase correct one of the two and eventually in the article w:de:Lisa Jardine ? --Goesseln (talk) 23:51, 26 October 2015 (UTC)

Extent of permissions
editDoes the permissions granted in the OTRS ticket include fellows portraits uploaded by other users too? I'd like to use the picture of Peter Donnelly if possible. D Wells (talk)
