Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Location?

Hi Shadowmeldphoto - thanks for adding your photos to Commons! Could you add details of where they were taken, please, it improves the scientific value of the photos and helps with identification and categorisation. Thanks! - MPF (talk) 12:30, 8 January 2019 (UTC)

Example: File:Willet Flock ABDS-WL-1.jpg are not Willets, but a Calidris species, probably Sanderling; however, without the faintest clue as to where in the world the photo was taken, they have to be left as unidentifiable - MPF (talk) 13:07, 8 January 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for the note. I have been working on adding locations as I go, there are a lot of images in our catalog. You put three photos in Category:Union Bay, but you haven't created the category. Also, I would suggest a category name more like Category:Union Bay (Michigan), since there is already a Category:Union Bay (Seattle). - Jmabel ! talk 04:45, 8 April 2019 (UTC)

The category was created, but doesn't provide enough geographic references to determine the location by name alone ie no coordinate, county, or city mentioned. Can you verify if Union Bay (Q33610989) is the Bay referenced by this category? If not, could you provide approximate coordinates or the county for the bay?
