Seeing that I pester commons-admins on IRC quite often for OTRS-related ticket deletions and restore, I got to the conclusion that I might be running for adminship myself, so I can ease the process a bit. Not only would that speed up ticket handling, it'd also mean the other admins won't have to read my restoration-requests all that often (and believe me, they do). Right now I don't expect to be able to do much in the way of vandalism control or Deletion requests - I'm quite busy with that on deWP already, where I was elected to be an administrator one and a half years ago.
